Well the server works with 3.1.3 client.
But I can't seem to load the old character DB from 3.0.9.:?:
I had no problems going from 2.4.3 to 3.0.9
I can create new characters np.
Is there a sql file to apply for the character DB?
Backup db in 3.0.9 version then use sqlyog to apply any updates that refer to the char db with a rev no. later than the rev youre updating from the sql\updates folder of the later release, then export and import into the later release...

I've read through the forums as well as troubleshooted as best I can on my own but im running into the problem error of "error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc015002)"
Im currently deployed so my access to the internet is limited but the answers i ran into was to install .NET Framework 3.5sp1 which I have done. When I first installed the Amber Mangos client and successfully had the server up and running with people playing. However, recently I tried to start up the ambergui that error starting showing up.
Little frustrating have to use our MWR computers and go back to my laptop and try to troubleshoot from suggestions. So if anyone has found a workaround for this particular problem besides installing the SP1 framework i'd definently appreciate the help. Im going to try reintalling the framework again and maybe get lucky

With SQLyog open and the database you want to work with selected on the left, press ctrl+o to open the file select window, then select the sql file you want to import, this loads the data to the command window.All thats left is to execute the commands using the 'execute all queries' button....yes its all the queries for the char db later than the rev youre updating...Quote:
