3rd i can connect with my comp just fine but when i try to connect with my wife's i cannot connect can some one tell me ot point me in the direction with a link to solve this issue?

hmmmm not exactly what i had in mind for a link i was kinda hoping for a more precise area in wich to look as well as i read the Repac readme that came with the gui and followed the steps to no avail perhaps a link to the area that explains it in more detail on the site perhaps since i couldnt find it in the 57 pages of this thread

OK you've read the Repaq_instructions_en.rtf and tried your best to sort it, but you still have problems...next you post as much info as you can about what steps you've taken so we can see where your going and what your capable of understanding by yourself...this honesty encourages other users and myself to gently push your knowledge further in the spirit of open source code...

BTW Im always curious as to how I can make the repack instructions more legible, you have to appreciate I've been doing this for years and whilst the longer you study something the simpler it seems, internally the distance from origin plus other acquired knowledge tends to blur your ability to express the information to the uninitiated...perfect example of this is when you read a manual and it doesn't make sense so you play around for a bit and discover a few functions and then read the sections relating to the functions you have grasped and now it reads perfect sense, basically were talking about different frames of reference. This is the problem your faced with when writing instructions. Feedback welcome...

I found your repack very easy to install get working.
Some of the php is a bit obscure and when you try and customize the sever you can get in to a few problems ;)
And maybe instructions step by step updating sql using the sqlyog might help some people ;)
But it's easy enugh to figure out with a bit of effort and knowledge.

I would agree with Nighthawk, It is a great repak and easy to load.
Some times it is just not what your saying but more how it is said. I get mad at people for not thinking what i am thinking, like they say if you have been doing it for a long time you dont think of all the crap in the back ground you just do it, this is the problem. I guess what im trying to say to you shivajiva is most of the people that come here are looking for the big easy.(A complete running wow server that they can get with a single click). What i see is alot of asking the same shit over and over, Why? People don't read. so i don't think you are doing anything wrong in the way you explain shit!.

You just need to use the / key on the number pad. The last update for some reason places them on walking mode.

I've been having trouble with the auction house bot. It sells items fine however it will not buy anyone's item. I've modified the auction house section of the mangosd.conf to allow the bot to sell and buy items. I also have the auctionhousebot table modified correctly.

AuctionHouseBot.EnableBuyer = 1


I've been having this auction problem since version 3.1.3. I've tried dumping the auction table thinking that would clear up any memory issues but still no luck. Any ideas?

i had a problem where my auction house just didnt work at all... it annoyed me and couldnt get it working never found a fix ive tried everything...

I dont know about the 3.3.0A update, but as of the last 3.2.2 update, the auctionhousebot only buys from the neutral auctionhouse for some reason.

Ok i Got the server working My wife can log into it now the smilies are still red however But i would like to get it set to where My friends can log into it remotely from thier homes i set it up on a dyns host and everything but im not to sure what all i have to change or insert the new host links and what not. I have the ports open on my router done ports 80,8084,8085,3308,and 3724 are all open. Like i said i have my Dyn set up with my realm name and all aswell. and this is my RealmD settings do i need to change anything here to allow access to my friends from outside my network.

I was getting that error as well i went into the Mangos folder to the file that is labled 9183 and tools then clicked the extract all in there and it cleared it up for me.
