This my problem at the webpage :

I have amber for client 3.2.2a works great
then I uesed the update for client 3.3.0a.
That is when the problems start. I am getting four errors when try to update. if I click ok on the update errors it continues to install but AmberGUI will not run realm or world says access denied. here are the error messages im getting.

hey i currently have 8901 installed... but when i run a server no matter which realm it is it shuts down on me after about a minute... what is the problem i am running windows vista 32bit...

hey if u have changed heaps of things to make it custom that can do the trick... it doesnt affect the server i had the same problem when i did my custom items it would come up with a massive line of red txt it's not bad but i know its annoying but u dont have too look at it simple as that >.<

ok i seem to have managed to get it reinstalled but the Vmap assembeler is taking its sweet time...normally its the extractor that takes a long time... can anyone tell me why it seems to have frozen? also. the setup is taking up 2 taskbar tabs one of which does nothing if i click it. sorry its been a while since ive had to reinstall mangos...

haha as i posted it it changed to extraction finnished... and now that's not doing anything.

hey ok got it all working... but now i cant get the mysql to work... can someone give me a link to a thread or pm me the instructions on how to set up the mysql to work with v8901? and has there been an update where it doesnt make a virtual drive anymore or is something going wrong... yet again... Fml

Mangos/miniserver/docs is a good place to start...
Mangos/v9183/docs look here ass well...

Scififlip Bad news...I had same problem, I reinstalled everything in order and it was fine...for some reason if you run the updates after they have been installed already It goes FUBAR...just start from scratch (delete everything in mangos folder but keep data folder ) reinstall and you will be fine...db was a whipe but hey shit happens,that was my fix.:grr:

I C on page 11 of this forum the same issue has been asked about by gigco but he never got an answer by the looks of it...201-210 all are calling the world db, So i would bet your worlddb is bad... reload your sql's...

just wondering is jut me or the deathknights in every single update remain bugged in the same part the quest of "Death Comes From On High" the can never use Eye of Acherus its just me or what?
i will like to know because i never used them but now the i want to use those DK i cant unless i go with the gm and complete the quest and im pretty sure thats no the point...
can someone please give me an answer

I tried to this var_dump($CHDB); to look what the hell is worng but doesn't work

When Do You upload any update with working start quests for DK? And i report other quest without "Death comes from high" :
-Grand theft Palomino (Player can't steal any horse, only can attack)
-Into the realm of Shadows (not working, no result after take that quest)
-The Gift That Keept On Giving (Gift of the harvester kill player ;/)

I have next problem, in "The Battle For The Ebon Hold", mob Patchwerk is very strong, (2 players cant kill him ;/), where can I modify stats mobs?

Hi! Try to be more active; ex: In my server 4Fun, everybody bornns at level 80. When DKs born, miss 46 Talent points (a bug).. then i put theses Talents missing as reward of the First quest, understood? Use your imagination.. MOBs damage: go to the mangosd.conf - there you can modify the global rates (including mob damages) Ex: 1 = 100% - change to 0.5 (50%) - :thumbup:

Crazy thought; do you have the WotLK client installed?
Crazier thought; do you have your expansion level set to 2? (0 = no pack, 1 = crusade, 2 = WotLK, I think.)

Also, is Filebeam.com down for anyone else? They appear to be changing servers or something.

You might be waiting a while, it was released yesterday. From what I hear, the handshake coding is pretty tricky.
