and my servercomputer is very slow when it comes to navicat etc, so that's why I want to remoteaccess the db.

I haven't touched any of the web cfgs nor the server cfgs. Except the IP Adress in the realmist table.
The website is also running veery slow even on LAN.

I'm encountering the same kindo of error. Instalation of latest release of Mangos Amber runs fine, everything is ok, but once the instalation is finished, Amber GUI pops up and in the log windows there is something like:
Error in LoadEvents: error 60 chains something...
When I try to run server, I receive error that mysql-opt is missing, thus server can not run - the mysql service is not installed - that is weird... Instalation runs fine, why the file is not working now????
Once I will be back home, I will post correct description of the error (but there is no dump to err.thx as far as I know)
My biggest problem is with the mysql-opt.exe - somehow, durring instalation works ok, but once in Amber GUI, service is not available, file is missing etc....How can it be that it says it's missing - the file is physicaly presented...
Later when I turn of the amber gui and look inside of instalation folder, it seems to me like some files get lost - seems to me like there was more files before closing amber gui - but that's maybe just in my mind... dunno

Like I said, I have not seen this type of output before, and was wondering, is this was normal.
I have tried 2 install "routes"..
(1) by running 9611-9763_update.exe and the 9763-9862_update.exe on an existing v9611 install.
(2) by installing v9763_FullSetup.exe and updating that with the 9763-9862_update.exe [Output above is from this setup].
In both cases I get similar realmdb.exe output.
What's puzzling me is why the SQL instructions appear in the console.
Feedback would be appreciated.
I have searched the thread and there does not appear to be any reference to this issue.
And.... thank you for keeping the AmberGUI project alive... I used to love WOW, but strangely, it's a bit more fun playing WOW GOD!!...., even if it means running 40-man raids with one character!!

Hi.. Am new to this forum.. not sure if i should post issues here.. but i found 3 issues after 2 days of playing.. not sure if anyone encountered such issues..
1) night elf warrior, charge skill, sometimes will charge in and fall into the ground, causing stuck and die. After which not able to revive and have to go to spirit healer.
2) some loot quests not able to loot anything? e.g. timberling, big bone quest in auberdin (fyi, i had auto loot on.. not sure if this info is any useful)
3) some creatures in huts are underground.. killing them render them un-lootable for some..
4) cant revive my hunter pet if my pet dies?! it says i dont have a pet.... :(
anyone encounter such issues too?

i install the full installation 9763 and upadte to 9862
all fuction is ok, but i found the Amber GUI always on system tray not display on desktop , what's happen about this ?? how can I show the gui on the desktop .
My AmberGUI looks strange (see attached pic). I have installed the latest full release (9763) and update (9763-9862). Do you know what is causing everything to be displayed like this. The main part of the interface on the left side is chopped off on the right.

Same problem here. Im using latest version of net framework. Ive been trying to secure my server, but I cannot change my mysql password through the amber interface. Every form is cut off.
I know this may be old, but I have been searching for a solution for 10 hours now. I am using Mangos v.9862, and I have the exact same problem. I have done everything by the instructions, still my AH is always empty, although it says items are loaded. I even tried changing the character settings in db, but it didn't help.
Can anyone please tell me what to do. Here is what it says in server log:
