The Amber .exe is crashing on Windows 7. No crash log or report. It just stops working. And so, I don't actually care. I can start the mangos and realmd manually, but how to start the MySQL?

You really need to READ! the Manual...Everything you need to know is there! mangos/miniserver/docs

I am running v10316 using Ambergui on a Windows 2003 server. (Not sure relevance)

I have an issue with group loot. Although in the client it is set to group loot it is allowing everyone to race to the corpse and loot it. The first one there gets the loot.

There are also a few minor things such as animals being invisible until you run through their aggro radius. (Lynxs outside Silvermoon city and the thugs outside Stormwind). This is fine though as I can possibly sort myself.

Another small query. The client news area when you boot up wow. Where does that link to and how can I change the text to show my own messages for downtime etc?

Any help with the looting system would be a great help.

i got these error in the mangosweb after updating.. will anyone help me? the connection to the reg page also slowed down after update to the latest version..

Hey can someone help me please, after I used the GUI and click the Realm button i get the msvcp100.dll missing error. I tried reinstalling the Netframework 3.5 again, and the c++ redistribute. I am using a Vista x84 i think. Someone please help me out.

Nvm its sorted, but apache doesnt load because port 80 is in use or something. And how can I make custom items, npc's etc :o

Getting an error when starting the realmd.exe

Can anyone help with this please? I have had this server running for a long time and just recently upgraded to 10316 and now getting this error:

The procedure entry point_invalid_parameter_noinfo_noreturn could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR199.dll

I have downloaded both msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll and placed them in C:\Mangos\v10316 and it still won't run right...any help is appreciated shiva.

Hey guys,

just have a quick question for which I hope someone will give me a quick answer.

I am using mangos v.9862 with WOW 3.3.3. Everything works great, but the monsters (like kobolds, defias, etc) are not holding any weapons in their hands, so I was wondering if there is a way to fix it? I am pretty sure when I played the original game the Defias held short swords, the kobolds had mining picks, etc. They just attack with their fists, but I think the damage they do is ok.
