Take a bow.... I have tried over 7 different repacks, and I must say, yours is by far the best.
In light of the "lawsuit" threat which may close down this forum in future (had a scare earlier, when some sections of this forum were closed!!!), and considering the purpose of Ambergui to get people to compile their own repacks, I have started looking into that very subject.
However, it appears that the documentation contained within your repacks, only takes matters to the last version (v6767) that was published on SVN, before Mangos moved over to GIT for version control.
I have looked at the mangos forums personally, and have not found instructions on getting the latest source code on GIT, and the compile instructions. They removed the old help files with regards to SVN, but have not added any GIT ones.
It would be most appreciated if you could help us by inserting the steps that you took to compile the latest repacks using GIT.

As for mangos u need to join http://getmangos.com/community/ and look in the Sourcecode mastery Git section as Im not about to leach people posts...seems only fair!

shiva, why is ur core giving world thread hangs every hour. whats going on with that and it doesnt even close itself.
I have had no problems with it crashing at all even idle for over 12 hours.
Well i tested your files out and they did not work because you have the Realm linking to the wrong database. It's linking to a non existing database. It's set as
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;746099;realmd" when it should be: LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;realmd"
the database: 746099 is not the right one or the default one as mangos. Dont change these settings and you should have no problems with it.
I have attached the fixed file for you to copy over and overwrite the existing one. It should work now as I was able to login.

Dude, that's his password NOT database. the realmd is the database.
He probably forgot to change the password in the rest of the scripts / files. That's why he cannot login.
Hi there guys, I am trying to add a custom spell at spell_target_position table.
But when I start the server is says that the spell I added doesn't exist.
Is there an other table that I should put the spell too to work? (something like spell_template)?

I've been following these forums since 2.4.3. My current problem is after upgrading to the latest release of amber 7579, My players see a white page when trying to login into the website. Secondly, when I click on the minimanager or website link in the GUI it crashes. I've reinstalled framework 3.5 SP1 numerous times and still get the same results. Any ideas? I'm running windows 2003 server SP1, 4 gigs ram on a dell poweredge dual xeon cpu server.

i have this problem after the last update when i try to run mangos
loading game object templates
error in gameobject_template table, probably sql file format was updated (there should be 34 fields in sql)
is there a way that i can fix that?
I also have the same error as tripkaos
Mangos will not load with this error.
Any hints on how to fix this?
