Hi, this is a great release shiv, many thanks.
One small thing, is Ulduar fully functional in this release (3.1.3), or do we need to get that fix patch I have seen floating around everywhere ? :)

Well the server works with 3.1.3 client.
But I can't seem to load the old character DB from 3.0.9.
I had no problems going from 2.4.3 to 3.0.9
I can create new characters np.
Is there a sql file to apply for the character DB?
Backup db in 3.0.9 version then use sqlyog to apply any updates that refer to the char db with a rev no. later than the rev youre updating from the sql\updates folder of the later release, then export and import into the later release...

I've read through the forums as well as troubleshooted as best I can on my own but im running into the problem error of "error: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc015002)"
Im currently deployed so my access to the internet is limited but the answers i ran into was to install .NET Framework 3.5sp1 which I have done. When I first installed the Amber Mangos client and successfully had the server up and running with people playing. However, recently I tried to start up the ambergui that error starting showing up.
Little frustrating have to use our MWR computers and go back to my laptop and try to troubleshoot from suggestions. So if anyone has found a workaround for this particular problem besides installing the SP1 framework i'd definently appreciate the help. Im going to try reintalling the framework again and maybe get lucky
Ive mentioned this previously, but here we go again...
USE THE COMMANDS IN THE DB! Simple no guess work...THATS the command table in world database. The website derives its list from this table same as the mangos server. If you think searching the web or trying to use old commands is realistic then your having a giraffe
...hope that works because my next suggestion is to reload the OSmight be worth checking your security apps are not blocking it tho...

That being said, I am having the same problem as NightHawk1000, except I am not as smart as him. I have backed up the DB in 3.0.9, and loaded up SQLyog. Having never been in this program before, I am not sure how to apply updates from the sql\updates folder. Can you be a tad more specific?

With SQLyog open and the database you want to work with selected on the left, press ctrl+o to open the file select window, then select the sql file you want to import, this loads the data to the command window.All thats left is to execute the commands using the 'execute all queries' button....yes its all the queries for the char db later than the rev youre updating...
If you can't make correct vmaps then you have the wrong client installed. At 1.78Gb who's going to upload...use the extractor!
I have wow wotlk 3.1.3.9947 enGB client . This is not good client ?
And if i use extractor ... extractor extract only dbc and maps but no vmaps .
i install and good working. but not for (9947) client. Ulduar not running. all spells, talent, crafts and talents works great.
