shiva.. i have a little request.. i think this bothers others too.. the 2 major bugs i see in gameplay.. paladin forberance not working.. and mage blink.. my suggestion/request would be.. compiling mangos with a blink patch.. that makes him blink anyway.. even if it fails .. and forberance fix ar in review section in mangos or at silvermoon.. they dont fix it properly.. but its better than nothing..

hi all,
i noticed a few have the same problem as me in that the buyer for the AH bot doesnt seem to work anymore, it was all fine before , suspect there need to be a update for it rolled into the next patch
unless i missed someting in the config/sql files but i dont think so.
anyone found a solution or have a SQL that i can patch with in the meantime to fix it ?

ERROR:Correct *.map files not found in path '../../Data/server1/WOTLK/maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in '../../Data/server1/WOTLK/vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.
check the *.map and *.vmap files are in the relevant folders and not in the root folder, or try a re install
I have the solution
the conf was incorrect
i have
DataDir = "../..//Data/server1/WOTLK"
change to
DataDir = "C:/MaNGOS/Data/server1/WOTLK"
or just instead of '../../Data/server1/WOTLK/maps'
write '../Data/server1/WOTLK/maps' .. without the "../" at the begining.. the same for vmaps..
the ../ stands for.. one step back.. so if your conf file is in vXXXX folder.. than one ../ means jo go back in MaNGOS folder.. where the Data folder is located.. the rest is data/server1.... so on.. but these two ../../ are correct for server2 .. becouse the config files are located.. and the .exe files.. in another folder.. like vXXXX/server2 .. so it needs to go 2 steps back instead of one :)

I have a little problem. When installing AmberGUI it makes me an error like :
"function [install_parse] Index was out of bounds. It must not be less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index."
Which means that it takes no informations in Amber. Someone has an idea to fix this?

Edit 2 : i've edited the mangosd.conf (for rates) and... The mangosd.exe does'nt work xD have you an idea ?

i edited the mangosd.conf -> rates life, mana, rage income, crafting etc...
But now, i've an other DB so it works
OK well how do i say this, im amazingly bad at this stuff and i need somebody to help me like they would help a 10 year old to setup a local lan/server, cause thats how i feel at the moment..
Ok so i got the server up and running, i can only play on the second realm since the 1st realm doesnt start ?! But i can play on the second so i have no trouble with that, but i would like to get a local server running so i can play with my friends when they come or whatever.
Ok i changed the other pc's realm list to the main-pc's ip, but when i try to connect on the other pc it gets stuck on the realm list.. so what did i do wrong, and how do i do it right ?
I read somewhere, that all pc's on the network need their "hosts.file" editted to join the server.
This file can be found in Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts.file
what needs to be done, is under the "127.0.0.1 localhost" you need to add "PC CURRENT LAN IP" under "127.0.0.1" and "Hosting Pc's LAN IP" under "localhost"
try this, and see if it works ;)
