Hi.. Am new to this forum.. not sure if i should post issues here.. but i found 3 issues after 2 days of playing.. not sure if anyone encountered such issues..

1) night elf warrior, charge skill, sometimes will charge in and fall into the ground, causing stuck and die. After which not able to revive and have to go to spirit healer.

2) some loot quests not able to loot anything? e.g. timberling, big bone quest in auberdin (fyi, i had auto loot on.. not sure if this info is any useful)

3) some creatures in huts are underground.. killing them render them un-lootable for some..

4) cant revive my hunter pet if my pet dies?! it says i dont have a pet.... :(

anyone encounter such issues too?

i install the full installation 9763 and upadte to 9862
all fuction is ok, but i found the Amber GUI always on system tray not display on desktop , what's happen about this ?? how can I show the gui on the desktop .

My AmberGUI looks strange (see attached pic). I have installed the latest full release (9763) and update (9763-9862). Do you know what is causing everything to be displayed like this. The main part of the interface on the left side is chopped off on the right.

Same problem here. Im using latest version of net framework. Ive been trying to secure my server, but I cannot change my mysql password through the amber interface. Every form is cut off.

but there is no items in the AH , i have tried a few areas and different characters but still nothing..

I know this may be old, but I have been searching for a solution for 10 hours now. I am using Mangos v.9862, and I have the exact same problem. I have done everything by the instructions, still my AH is always empty, although it says items are loaded. I even tried changing the character settings in db, but it didn't help.

Can anyone please tell me what to do. Here is what it says in server log:

This sets min and maximum values repeat for

Ok, I changed the stuff to 9999,9999, but I don't understand how to apply MaNGOS\v9862\sql\characters_auctionhousebot.sql
using SQLyog into the character & character2 database.

I am sorry if this sounds as a stupid question, but I am not really into this programming thingy. Please, give this noob a helping hand by being a bit more detailed. :(

The thing that crosses my mind is to try do it manually by finding the character and character 2 databeses folder and changing the stuff there to 9999 too, but I am not sure if it can be done that way.

The problem is that in the v.9862 the character sql files have this written:

create a new connection amber
user name = root
password = amber
port = 3308

connect to database

click [+] character database
click [+] tables
right click auctionhousebot
open table or press F11
find the entries on the right hand side
edit min & max to 9999 9999
click the diskette above it to save
exit sqlyog

retry

You need to first drop (delete) then create the databases
before you import your new sql files.

1. Run a backup of your database to save it
start \Mangos\ambergui.exe
start mini server MySQL in ambergui
run backup to save your databases

2. start \Mangos\ambergui.exe
start mini server MySQL in ambergui
start \Mangos\sqlyog (in links in ambergui or manually)
create a new connection amber
user name = root
password = amber
port = 3308

connect to database

Right click and delete database
mangos
characters
scriptdev2
realm

right click and create database

mangos
characters
scriptdev2
realm

then import your databases

I think everyone's is like that now, it seems to be a bug in the GUI software where the x/y is messed up or something, maybe it will be fixed in the next version.

I am still looking for the answer to a couple things:

1). I still cannot find where to turn off the afk/idle kick in the game, I want players to hang out as long as they want since this is only for a few family and friends and not public.

2). I am still looking for the place to edit the How to Play page, I cannot find the actual text in any files. (Hey shiva, any chance on mangosweb enhanced by default coming soon?)

Sorry for the bother, but yet another problem I couldn't seem to find a fix for.
Although i have the latest version of .NET Framework (version 4.0), I get an error:

"Unable to find a version of runtime to run this application"

running the AmberGUI.exe...and it pops up as soon as installation is done for the installer.

I've even tried running a repair on the .net framework. Should I downgrade to 3.5 or is there something else I can try?

Heya, i've got the 3.3.3 version. And works fine ^^ I can log into it with NAvicat ^^ but when i am in there, i can't see the ser5ver database, where all the items are in. Does anyone know how to get that database back?

Please include playerbot, or tell me how to add it to your repack. Your repack is the best I have come across and the only thing I feel that it is lacking is the ability to level up my other characters at the same time.
