you will also need to add you real ip to the hosts file
then it should work but use the no-ip name for you reamlist.wtf file in wow and also edit and add the no-ip to C:\MaNGOS\v8901\mangosd.conf there is 3 line with
127.0.0.1 change them to your no-ip reboot the server and it wil work it should

But I have a Dynamic IP address. Which is why I am using a NO-IP to begin with. So if I add my real IP to the hosts file, I will have to change that everytime my provider re-negotiates my IP. Won't I? I never had to do that with the last repack. There must be something else I am missing..

all i know if you change them file to no-ip and add the no ip to the host some liek so

to the host file it should work

When I select a character in the MangosWeb, it doesn't work. When I try to post in the forum, it says that I must select a character first.

Is there an easy fix for this?

All the characters are showing correctly, so I know its not the database settings...

I don't know if this is the right thread to post in, but here it goes...




Everything works, I guess... But the faces aren't turning green and I don't know why I can access the server perfectly, and the website too. Still haven't tried to connect through other PCs at home though

click on the show console if there any red error it will be in there not sure why that is happing

i've had this problem since running win7 x64 and previously on vista x64 both ultimate , i just got over it... no biggie

I'm running Windows 7 Professional (x86)
So... It's no big problem if they are red? Since everything works... (Oh... The minimanager can't find the databases, but i'll check that later)

But I'll probably download the latest version of AmberGUI and update my WoW Client :3

Anyways, shivajiva101, I love using AmberGUI, since it's so easy to work with, and has a nice... GUI XD
I really do hope you continue your good work on this ;D

Hello everyone thanks for the great job shiva for me it works perfectly on the server without any problem, only that I have so many quests in Outland or Northrend is full of bugs, with the ground that the npc leaving the ground or walls, now my I should fix the application or are resolved in the next release?

Ok, I figured out my issue. Sort of. Instead of doing a Port Forward on all the individual ports, I did a DMZ to the wow server. Now my remote users can connect with no problem. WHICH MEANS, there is a port I was NOT forwarding that needed to be forwarded.
Does anyone have a complete list of ports that need to be forwarded for this repack to work completely?

You install server not in C:\MaNGOS
I couldn't install the last version(Are not put the DB, he says that import of DB is going ON but in mysql they not exist) , maybe the problem is win7?

I don't know. I tried to run it in compatibility mode though. I have several HDD partitions, and tried to install the mini server 8901 in all of them, and all gave the same error... I guess I'm pretty much doomed to re-install WoW again, since I can't find anything that may help me solve this problem :shocked:

i just newbie, and want to create a Private server in LAN. is it compatible the new UDB 0.11.6 S385 + MaNGOS 0.15.0 v8901 (New) , really2 support with 3.2.2 client US?
