If your using an update your characters db's get updated during installation so why would you then re-apply an old backup? Use search for my previous post giving detailed instructions about updating a db with core updates from the sql\updates folder...

No I would release both formats...
MBA is huge so it's not viable but I will mod the installer so website & miniManager are optional that way I shouldn't overwrite files if theyre not installed giving you the possibility to run and update MBA in the miniServer\www folder...

i havnt been using mangos in ages and was wondering if there will be a version to support World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, when its released? and what are the current versions and updates that i will be needing (i feel like ive been living on mars the past few months) i havnt had anything to do with mangos or wow since my computer crashed and then i was banned from using any other family computer's since they were experiencing problems and were naturally blamed on me lol. thanks for your help in advance.

Ok i FINALLY got the new update to load....er well sorta problem 1) Everytime i try to use the Gui to extract the Vmaps i get an error msg {Error in ext_Vaps...Could notfind a part of the path 'C:/MaMGOSAmberGUI [v101 build 2] using\tools\vmapextract_v2.exe'.} problem 2) is though i CAN log into the game server i wanted to test to see if any of the DK quests were fixed *crosses Fingures* But it says i have to Have WoTLK wich i have the wotlk splashgame 3.2.2a and or have a lvl 55 so i .level 55 a test toon and went back to create a DK and I cant access it. any help in these matters would be GREAT!!! thanks.
Seems you didn't read the post below your post...
For your other problem use AmberGUI or miniManager or website to change the type of account your using...
Actually i DID read the post above my last one i Dled the Gui from the link and it too is giving me an error when i try to use it
"Erroe in Auto_Version:Index was out of Range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the Collestion. Parameter name: index"
Ill try re-downloading it and running it again but if there is anything i need to do to get this to work please tell what is it?

Ok got everything up and running but the quest Death Comes From On High and Grand teft Palamino are not working im sure there are others as well any Idea how to fix these by chance?

3 more problems first is the Server pic every time a new toon is made i get those red lines of script
The 2nd problem i think it is one anyway are the smilies supposed to turn green if everything is working good or do they stay red

Yes we all get them nothing to worry about...reported previously using win7 but it works on my copy! I'll recheck this segment of code to see if I can suss the problem...

hmmmm not exactly what i had in mind for a link i was kinda hoping for a more precise area in wich to look as well as i read the Repac readme that came with the gui and followed the steps to no avail perhaps a link to the area that explains it in more detail on the site perhaps since i couldnt find it in the 57 pages of this thread

OK you've read the Repaq_instructions_en.rtf and tried your best to sort it, but you still have problems...next you post as much info as you can about what steps you've taken so we can see where your going and what your capable of understanding by yourself...this honesty encourages other users and myself to gently push your knowledge further in the spirit of open source code...

BTW Im always curious as to how I can make the repack instructions more legible, you have to appreciate I've been doing this for years and whilst the longer you study something the simpler it seems, internally the distance from origin plus other acquired knowledge tends to blur your ability to express the information to the uninitiated...perfect example of this is when you read a manual and it doesn't make sense so you play around for a bit and discover a few functions and then read the sections relating to the functions you have grasped and now it reads perfect sense, basically were talking about different frames of reference. This is the problem your faced with when writing instructions. Feedback welcome...

I found your repack very easy to install get working.
Some of the php is a bit obscure and when you try and customize the sever you can get in to a few problems ;)
And maybe instructions step by step updating sql using the sqlyog might help some people ;)
But it's easy enugh to figure out with a bit of effort and knowledge.
