Issues with client

I have read and watched Abrys videos and tuts however my biggest question is

1.) Do we have to use the official client provided (If not how do you disable the auto patch and still have the game work) because I tried to disable the auto patch feature in the __NyxLauncher.ini even tried to re reoute the ips but every time I try it just crashes either the game or the softnyx launcher because it trys to auto patch to make sure your using the right client version.....)

Any support on this would be greatly apperciated.

I used the bdrs launcher to get mines working. But different protocols don't let me go any further than the "Logging in..." bit. Thought abhout using an older client but couldn't manage to get it working.

What client version are you using?

I do not understand very well what you try to do better and if you can Self expression with images of your work

well I have the Carlos X Version but I really would just like a working set of files and client but I have no idea which client to use for the files I have and it seems hopeless.
