[Guide] Client Set Up

Client -
1. Get and install the Taiwanese 1.33 client from here:

ftp://ftp.games.seed.net.tw/pub/games/FREE/KOPO1.33FULL.exe

Please don't use another versions/languages, because you won't be able to install our patch on it.
If someone is experiencing difficulties getting it, please reply here, so someone could reupload it.

2. Install this patch. (Run and then point it to a folder where you installed your TW 1.33)

If you get an error when running this patch, try this archive with patched files

3. Use the program from http://www.gamezard.net/download/ipchance.rar to edit the IP address of your server. Also you can edit it manually. The IP addresses are in \scripts\table\ServerSet.bin file. Just change 127.0.0.1 with the IP of your server (with trailing 0x00) using the hex editor of your choice.

4. Your client should turn into English now Remember to run it using "start.bat" file in the root game directory, the official launcher/updater is removed by our patch.

why exactly do u want to change your ip i highly recommend u DON'T do so
because if u use hamachi it connects people directly for free u should try this before trying to edit your ip

The server (got no errors)
Client is set used the IP Changer (IP Already setup but when I attempt to login, it'll fail)

But I can't seem to get into the game.

server version?, and also try the pko 135 server files it is listed on http://www.priv.vetk.com and look in the client section it works great with the new 135 files
and also use the iteminfo.bin from your server files in your client/scripts/table folder, that should solve alot of item errors and stuff

hi, kuniiyo i installed the first patch on the tw 1.33 folder and updated successfully. but when i try to login i get the same msg i got before installing the patch " Game version is incorrect, Clear \"Confirm\" to start auto update or click \"Cancel \" to go website to download patch ". what can i do?
