No, Thank you. I was waiting for a good comment on the new GUI.
he's trying to get me down. He's in league with the FoxLvl. (The guy who helped make (or did) topcp)Originally Posted by simply3
not surprised he doesn't want this to go up.
I've already completed the task of making it possible to directly add 3 gems with all +9.
wow great idea! this is very likely to help alot of people out with their server!
Ill be sure to use it when i make a server.
Thanx! Although, if you have the sql server 2000, you can use TopCP, but it isn't visual, or "Fast" fast.
This Supports the SQL Server 2k and 2005.
When you click the button, you can connect to you character right away. You don't need to load a webpage.
I'm looking up the 2008 SQL Driver, so it can support all versions.
I'm using SQL SERVER 2000 and my working config is below
my connection is local (127.0.0.1) and my SQL instance is sqlservrCode:SQLHost=127.0.0.1\sqlservr SQLUser=game SQLPass=Y87dc#$98 SQLAccountDB=accountserver SQLGameDB=gamedb Resource=C:\Pirates King Server\resource
For look the instance I use [ctrl+alt+del] and see my process running.
how is password encrypter hard? its just all caps plain md5 -_-
Just for the record: This is not the first GUI - some chinese dudes already released several GUI-tools ages ago. Including Editors for the TXT-files,etc.
Nobody besides Sjikke was involved in the development of ToPCP - the FoxLv-guys have absolutly nothing to do with ToPCP (besides the fact that they published infos on how to hack it on their forum).
Most of everything works but, when i go to Charecter managment and i click (Inventory) after i have selected the char i cant see my items and when i click the slot it gives me a weird error saying
Unhandled exception has ocurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediatly.
Object refrence not set to a instance of a object.
Anyone know why? lol
You're using the Alpha prerelease. The inventory is not really applied in this version yet.
My best guess, is that when I packaged the Alpha prerelease, I made sure that the Item Thread was off. The Item thread is the one that gathers info on the specified item via the loaded items file.
My current version I'm working on is the Beta release. I've already have configured a working inventory.
(or to the most part).
ok thanks ill wait for new version then![]()
yeah i planned to edit but to late,He is not talking about the account-password but the DB-password in the CFG-files. And thats using a way more complicated encryption (not to mention that the account-password is not encrypted but hashed - MD5 is not an encryption - but thats another topic)
i guess i was very tired that time, idk why i did said that...
lol, I thought you were kinda....? xD
