here is my first guide ever hahaha..


here is the ss when the session,login,field,agent is open



here is the guide how to lower your CPU usage in ep5 server files


open session after you open that file then open task manager {ctrl+alt+delete} then search for the session.exe

then right click and click set priority


after that click the low




then right click again then click set affinity



and click CPU1



and dogodong.... there you have it its low cpu usage

here is the ss when your done



do it same with login,field and agent

NOTE:this is not permanent when you restart your computer you need to do it again

you forgot the mention the side result of that action :

- Hard to login
- Occasional Party bug
- Lag with very low players

If it was this easy people wouldn't have came up with real low CPU usage files

the result is LAG....

I refer you to use a normal server files . ^_^ . I don't think so why will lag

You can use EdgeMeal affinity and save your settings to favorite
but i dont recommend everyone to use this setup for their EP5

- hard to login (reading server info)

As of now its better to upgrade our pc if we use EP5 server files
4core high or Corei7..

you can change Login into bwlow normal but it depends on your connection bandwidth rating.

these are my settings before
0 session / login
0,1,2 = field
0,1,2,4 = agent
and its really sucks.

yup i tried your suggestion before, result is
you have to wait longger to get on character selection and also on game/field.
maybe on dual cores work. anyway thanks man i appreciate it

btw i using 4 cores :( all ran server files meant for 2 server machine even dual quad core will do.
i hope someone will lessen again the cpu usage of alteast session and login :(

Depends, if it's a dual core then the side effects are :

- Hard to login
- Occasional party bug

(that's the symptoms of no CPU on the agent server)

if you have 4 cores do this :
Core 1 for Login and Session
Core 2 for Agent
Core 3 and 4 for Field

or

Core 1 for Login and Session
Core 2 and 3 for Agent and Field

the result should be almost flawless

If you are using 4 Cores follow sir jolin88 guide if still doesnt work for you. try this one..

Core1 = Login
Core2 = Session
Core 3,4 = Field and Agent

I use this settings to my server PC Running Intel Chipsets, session and Login server must run into individual cores to avoid hard to login

yup that true grahambert i`m currently using an hamachi server but when i log in into another computer same no lag and my character is processing smoothly

But if you use 4GBRAM you'll be needed 64Bit OS to be able the detection of 4GBRAM

my comp. is quadcore processor and it has 4gb ran and memory and 1.5terabyte HDD

hehehe..it runs perfectly...and no lags reported by my players

Maybe you have a stable connection thats why it run smoothly through hamachi server.
