Setting up an Episode 6 Season 2 RAN Server

I. Required Softwares:

1. Download and install Windows Installer 3.1
2. Download and install .NET Framework 4



3. Download ONLY (important: wait for my further instructions on how you install this later) Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Before you download this program, you should first check the "service pack" of your computer if it has. To check that, go to Start> Right Click 'My Computer' > Properties > Under the 'General' Tab, at the bottom of the 'System' column, there you can see if your computer has a service pack and what version it is. After knowing your service pack, you may finally download MSQL 2005 Express Edition.

• For Service Pack 4 : Download
• For Service Pack 3 : Download
• For Service Pack 2 : Download
• No Service Pack : Download

4. After downloading the MSQL 2005 Express Edition with the right Service Pack compatible with your computer. I'm gonna show you a video thats going to teach you how to install MSQL 2005 Express Edition properly. See spoiler below.

5. Last to download is the SQL Server Management Studio Express Service. It's download is the same as the MSQL 2005 Express Edition that you'll gonna match the service pack with your computer.

• For Service Pack 4 : Download
• For Service Pack 3 : Download
• For Service Pack 2 : Download
• No Service Pack : Download

6. The easiest step is installing SQL Server Management Studio Express Service. You're gonna do nothing but hit the 'next' button till you finish the installation. See spoiler below.

II. Server Files:
1. Download EP6 Server Files
2. Download Ep6 Editors
3. Download EP6 Database
4. Download GMC for EP6 Season 2



5. Now, If you want to Host & Join with the same PC, then Read this
6. Open up “CFG\serve1.cfg” and find the IP and change the IP to your Local Area Network IP "EX:192.168.x.x". If you are not sure what is your LAN IP, Press Start Button, Click Run, type "cmd" without the "". Inside Command Prompt type "ipconfig" without the "". Do the same thing on “serve2.cfg-serve6.cfg”



7. Here is a Guide how to Setup Ran Database

III. Game Client:
1. Download Split Parts:

• Part1: Download
• Part2: Download
• Part3: Download
• Part4: Download

Or

• Part1: Download

2. After Downloading, Open "Param.ini" with "LogicFileEditor" and change the IP to yours. Make sure your Server IP is same with your Client IP.
3. Also Copy your Client "Data" to your Server Files.

I've got that problem to..
but i don't that problem anymore cause i uninstall the sql express..
all you have to do is uninstall the
Yousql express and reinstall the sql express
First you have to go to "Control panel" and go to "Add or Reinstall Programs"

Then Find all the sql express
And uninstall them on...
And when your finish uninstall them
Go To "C:\Program Files\"
And Delete the "Microsoft SQL Server" Folder
And when your finish delete them

Reinstall the program, Now Your Problem is Done...
100% Working....

Just try my method...
