[Guide] RANCP using NO-IP w/ pictures

Guide in RANCP using no-ip.
Hope this guide help some people here.


1. register your domain at No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP . then login your account.



2. after login your account click add



3. put your desire server name at hostnames(example: ranserver), then choose your extension name(example: sytes.net). then choose DNA HOST (A). it will automatically put your wan ip on ip address. then click CREATE HOST.



4. after creating your host, go to the download tab. download the Dynamic Update Client(DUC0, then install it.



5. after installing it, you need to add your wan ip + no-ip host on your hosts file, located at "C:\Windows\system32\etc\drivers\".



youre done on your no-ip. if you need a webserver, here i'll give the link:

SourceForge.net: Downloading ... = APPSERV 2.5.9
SourceForge.net: Downloading ... = Zend Optimizer.
need guide for APPSERV, here i created it too.
RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting = images only.

(note: i only learned this guide at the muonline server dev.)

are you talking about using your no-ip address as an IP?
we cant, the server cant connect, there will be error.

i think you cant use no-ip as your ip use to run your server.

Good job bro, i appreciate that im not the only one who knows
and using no-ip, as what i have said no-ip its too easy to use
but i never tested on RAN server coz' stop my RAN server hosting
thru any problem like can't online in router, but right now i've heared
a news and i already it that RAN server is no applicable on router hosting

only server can connect into thr Ran CP... and the other PC cannot connect i use Abbys Web server im not using APPSERV

the problem is when you use the other site to redirect to your rancp

I used other than no-ip.com but same dialog

you will recieve a log in message " Kamu tidak dibenarkan login." so I found this statement in the function.php

you are already login into your database but it only show the main page
so in this case your player will not able to log in into the game so the things that you nid to do is to connect directly to http://localhost/rancp then you must log in there and then logout to be able to login into the game

maybe sytes.net has no capability to redirect your lan ip no-ip.com has capability but on my post above has a problem.

are you using hamachi cause if you use hamachi use the hamachi ip in able to direct to you lan ip
example http://hamachiIP/RanCp

if you dont want to use hamachi IP, then port foward port 80, or configure your router to use bridge-mode,

no-ip redirects your WAN IP, not LAN IP. Find My IP Address - Lookup to find your WAN IP.

hummmm if you configure the no-ip.com to your wan ip it will going to display the modem page.

example:
url to host http://222.127.22.1/

if you configure it like this
url to host http://222.127.22.1/rancp

well you dont nid to use the no-ip.com

cause you got static ip

and if got no static ip then u use this format http://222.345.12.10/RAnCP well they cannot connect to your cp

in this term you are redirecting to your lan ip to use by other

it detect the wan configuration.

for example my first wan ip in my modem is 223.222.12.1 after a restart
it becomes 223.22.1.23
but if you are going to download a file from rapid shared it detect the configuration setings. idk is that
even if you restart the modem unplug it. you are detected
