    [Guide] Routers Hosting Ran (PLDT)

    * Totally Edited *
    * March 4, 2009 *

    Okay, So, robert123 Requested me to do this,
    Hmm, So, Back to my Guide

    Requirements:
    I. DSL/ At Least own IP
    II. Static
    III. NET Account [Logging for Port Forward]

    First:
    ○Click Start, Click Run, type "cmd" w/o the quotation marks
    ○Type ipconfig
    ○Open up your browser and type the default gateway ip to your browser
    ○Log In Now, Default is
    ---Admin
    ---1234

    Second:
    ○Forward Ports that your server is going to be used
    For you server: Default is 6000, 6001, 6002, 6003, 6004 <-- [But please not follow these, forward the ports that are going to be used by your server]

    ○Webserver
    If you want for your webserver, Forward ports 80
    or 8080.

    Third:
    ○Changing the IPs of your server
    Okay, On this part, BE "SURE".
    Backup your Server Files, or Server,

    Now go to your cfgs,
    [find your ip] and change it your IP
    then save
    try running your server, Try if Success, go to next part

    ○Param.ini
    Change your param.ini's IP to your host,
    example: 58.29.113.92 [This is only a guess, this was once my IP]

    all,
    If this guide isn't right, feel free to tell me, thx.
    and I'll edit and make it right.

    Hey, I get some bind errors

    LAN...

    If you're putting your ip on dyndns (it's like no-ip but it's cooler)
    Use your WAN, Everyday, change ur dyndns host

    I think this guide would be better if our client launcher is design to "Hostname" rather than IP address. I hope that someone would release one ... if so kindly share...nice guide...

    Re: [MEGA-GUIDE]Routers Hosting Ran (PLDT)

    As what I discovered..

    here's my additional guide based on the thread:

    If your encountering this problem:
    4 Worker Thread
    1 st Worker Thread Create OK
    2 st Worker Thread Create OK
    3 st Worker Thread Create OK
    4 st Worker Thread Create OK
    Server Update Thread Create OK
    WSASocket OK
    inet_addr error
    Bind OK
    yourhost.dynds.org:5001
    Server Accept Thread Create OK
    ERROR:CLoginServer::SessionConnect connect 10049
    Step 1.

    At the login1.cfg file.. if login server can't connect .. replace with the IP found at What is My IP?
    See below..
    // ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // Login server cfg file
    // ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // server setting value
    server_version 1
    patch_version 1
    server_name login
    server_max_client 200
    server_ip yourhost.dynds.org // IP
    server_service_port 5001
    server_control_port 6001

    // /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // 0 Korea (Mincoms) (default)
    // 1 Korea (Daum game)
    // 2 Taiwan / Hong Kong (Feya)
    // 3 China
    // 4 Japan (Excite)
    // 5 Thai (Eris)
    service_provider 3
    max_thread 5

    // /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // server type [type]
    // [type]
    // 1 : login server
    // 2 : session server
    // 3 : field server
    // 4 : agent server
    server_type 1
    server_group 0
    server_number 0

    // ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
    // Session server
    // session_server [server_name] [ip] [port] [userid] [userpass]
    session_server session 119.95.85.33 5704 ran ran // IP Edit this part..
    same as field and agent..

    this is my first little contribution here..
