I have a problem with d3d9 too generic application error. but when i use a different launcher it works fine, also when i use /app_run. however when i use this launcher i am getting the error, when i close the client i got this

i am using ep6s1 client. when i changed the compatibility version of game.exe to windows 98/me it works, NOTE: i am only getting this problem when i use this launcher.
Solved: What i did is i used Kal-el's Game.exe with hackshield, Thanks to both of you.

babylon, your problem was not in the launcher. you posted at the wrong thread.

it is sir, the problem is when i use this launcher, i am having that problem, when i use ianz there is no problem, also when i use app_run, also i read the previous thread some of them are also having problem same as what i experienced, that's why i shared my solution. Thanks.

The Launchers' Job is only to Launch the game. It has no connection with the data of the game. The Error Report you showed us was your client's problem.

For Ep6s1 or Ep5 sir there is, i figured it out now, the launcher doesn't open the game.exe as shell, it only runs it, so even with app_run it will not work. i tried creating a shortcut of game.exe with app_run and it works, also linked the launcher to the shortcut. but when i linked the launcher to the game.exe it shows those errors. Anyways thank you for this beautiful release. MORE POWER!!

as i always experience, when i open game.exe, always an error. because game.exe file is not executable so how come you can run it?

i simply made another game.exe which launches the real game.exe with ofcourse has another name.

You failed to communicate with the server - it means your launcher can't receive any data from your host. It can't read the plist.txt. Make sure all your settings are all matched before you run the ConfigEmbeder. And also, make sure you're not hosting it in 000webhost since they don't allow you to read .txt extensions for free users.

used x10 hosting it can read plstxt so it will be generated to connect

Failed to Communicate with server, thats my problem i put my IP adress at config and i tested 127.0.0.1 but not working please help me how to set up this i want to experience how do feel with own RAN PLEASE HELP ME! :(
