Doesn't sound right, but certainly interesting to know. Certainly creating (or modifying) the symbolic link or mounting to VMware via a different method (as you say), would be the better two options though. The whole downloading/mounting/extracting and all that is too much especially when the latter two options would be much quicker (and more useful 'in the long run') :):Quote:

Yes, you need to properly set up your own network there. It certainly looks as if you just tried to 'copy' my network settings - which will never work for you since you are not within MY LAN...
