Each time, I get permission problems. I had to chmod the setup.sh file for it to work but then I have to go in and chmod all the *.sh files in root/notes for the start.sh & the stop.sh to work as well as having to go in and chmod all the *.sh in /opt/apache-tomcat-5.5.28/bin/ and cd /opt/apache-tomcat-5.5.28/2/bin/ for it to work with no permission errors. At this point I can use browser and create an account but any other link (including access to pwAdmin) is unable to connect. So, any help on this would be appreciated.

You should not have any permissions issues if you're installing this from a CD (or an ISO mounted as a CD)... Also, my update may help if you don't have your issue fixed by the time I release it...Quote:

Ive loaded other iso so i know for a fact it is not the vm......ive also googled it and the only possibility is that the dl was corrupted....yet the hash is the same.
Would someone double check plz. and would it be possible to get it reuploaded
Edit:Ive now also tried to burn it and mount it but im getting the error
"mount point /cdrom does not exist"
Edit: Desperation caused me to try dl'ing with ie and still the same errors...
Tried to uninstall Vbox and reinstall with no change.
Tried to use it on VMWare with the same errors.
Would it have the same effect if u transfered the files onto the vm..... I know I would probably have to mess around with the permissions.....and file settings and seing as the files will already be there the installation probably wont work(just a geuss).
Ive used this package in the past without a problem, Will keep trying and post back if I can manage to figure it out.
Update is coming within the next few weeks. If the hash's match there's nothing wrong with them then anyway. I don't know what to tell you. It's worked for thousands of other people :(:
