Yea I bought GW2, and I love it. I had a thought about attempting to make a server that might have similar things, for example random events, but it would take way too much time, and I am not that good at it.
Also adding my speedtest. I would be honored to help you seed it.

Thank you, I will surely be in touch -- I would KILL for a connection that nice! No, I take that back - I would HURT or inflict pain for a connection that nice! I would KILL for a connection (I wish I lived) in Kansas City where they've deployed google fiber for $70/mo with 1,000 Mbit/s up AND down links (1 Gbit/s--gigabit up AND down!)!!!!!!!!!! Sadly, like most of the US (that I know of) residential internet is still under a HUGE monopoly of the tel, and cable co's -- so you get DSL (VDSL) or cable, which I think the current bests for my area are 45 Mbit/s down & 6 Mbit/s up, or 105 Mbit/s down & 6 Mbit/s up respectively. So either way I'm fucked because it doesn't matter whether I chose one or the other in terms of uplinks :(:
MAN, I cannot wait until I can have FTTP/FTTH with no less than 1 Gbit/s up AND down links /drool
ofc, this is the v136- section after all
Nopers :): making people sweat in anticipation :):
Also since the update is going to make it SO different -- I am thinking it will receive it's own / new thread (and this one will be closed and un-stickied if that's the route I go)... ... ...
Though I will surely post a link to it from this thread since I've instructed everyone to watch this thread for the update
Who knows, maybe I'll just keep it in this thread -- since I don't think there will be a reason to keep this old release around (it'd be a waste of space after all the improvements I've made) <.<
Only time will tell -- too early to decide stupid stuff like that when I still have to actually get it ready for release...
I ve got a problem installing youre server.
I instaled Linux ubuntu on vbox and when i try to mount server_root.iso file and error pops out.
"Failed to open the CD/DVD image C:\Users\User\Desktop\server_root.iso.
Could not get the storage format of the medium 'C:\Users\User\Desktop\server_root.iso' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).
Result Code: VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80BB0005)

Callee RC: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x80BB0001)"
I am a bit confused and i have no idea what to do. Can ya tell me how can i get through this error?
Sorry as I personally do not support vbox, I recommend VMware
Also, this release (as available for DL right now) is near it's EOL as I'm working on a MAJOR update to the package...
If anything I would also recommend verifying the hash/file checksums to make sure you didn't get a bad DL...
Hello, Please can you change the site of files donwloader because, it's too long
and it's say me all the time: The download was too long and was interrupted by the network. (I use Google Chrome)
But i have an connection of 18,45 Mbps.
Thanks in advance if you can upload it again.
Sorry for my bad english.
I don't have this version any more, I'm workin on a MAJOR update... This site is the only choice atm...
Next release/update will be a torrent
Ow Great !
good idea!
I'm waiting for this update.
343 Idk if this post still open but id like to make a question.
The server 1.3.6 can be install into ubunto 12.04,or most be in the version you say?
I tried re-downloading it many times. Even tried other internet browsers and it still keeps showing the same thing... awww....i just dunno what else should i try. : x
Of course it can, I'm just not sure if it will work w/ the release (at least the setup script as included) -- since this one is currently so old I honestly don't remember how I even have it set up. Even the next update is going to be version specific, but that is also primarily due to the fact that I include a pack of ia32-libs (so even offline installs can be accomplished) that, when tested attempting to install on 'wrong versions' of the OS do NOT work. But will it physically work on 12.04, yes for sure it will because my upcoming update is looking to require v 12.04.3 Also, good choice on the 12.04 I *always* recommend staying with and ONLY using LTS versions :thumbup:
Not sure what to tell you. You'll have to keep downloading until successful. Do you live in an area with 'bad' internet ?
