i got only LM based on ubuntu 14/04 on my pc (no other operating system) so if possible i dont want downgrade my only used os
i check pw dev and its got windows applications with .exe extension, peoples use it with wine? or how to use with linux based server the windows applications?
i mounted the server files but its show have 2 file on stick: install and pw-151-server_07.JAN.2014-ubuntu12.04.3_amd64, if i click to install then its open in text editor if i open another file then open with Ark linux application :/

i tryedvia terminaland used 'sudo sh install-pw' entered the password and its wrote error repeatly like endless loop:

I was wondering if these files could be installed on a PC and use the PC as a hardware server and use 2 other PC's to more less play LAN? if so how would I be able to connect 2 PC's in the same house through the router?
you will need to use a virtual machine to install the server on , you would then connect the clients to the virtual machines ip, no need for port forward either.
If you play only at home the Server and host it there, you dont need any port forward.
how to copy server files to virtual machine? i got Oracle VM VirtualBox, i installed the ubuntu 12.04 to it but i stucked here.
seems at cd device when i tryed add like virtual cd rom the pw server iso then allways say error to me, attached the pic below...
i tryed enter to media directory but there only a cdrom folder and can't see anything else...
idk what to do :/
other problem if theoretical i will able setup the server, how to edit the server file with dev tools if the server is ubuntu 12.04 without graphical interface and wine?

but i don't know if i need configure the network if i use direct internet via cable from router and want use only for lan, so then still configure manually the network or no?
another difference after i started follow the video there ask domain and name (skiped in video) then progressbar but at me ask domain, name (i skip) then username and password but cant skip this. in video only later ask the username and password.
if i setup in virtual box then still need VLM option or can choose entire disk at partition part of the installation?
After i logged in with root i typed 'mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom' but its said 'cd rom does not exist' but in dev directory exist if i check with ls.
idk why not let me insert pw server image /iso file, tryed 1.36 and 1.51. both give error
Anyone happen to know which folder is the frostcovered city is? i have a feeling i looked over it already in attempts to find it.
It should be folder a29 if im not mistaken as that is what it is for 1.3.6 not sure if it changed for other versions
To get the Serverfiles onto the VM, you can extract the iso file with WINRAR or 7zip for an example and copy these 2 Datas into your VM with the Program called WinSCPQuote:

thats because your in the "/root" directory, back up one directory to "/"
