i use Vbox tu make PW offline 1.3.6
1.pw-136-server_07.JAN.2014-ubuntu12.04.3_amd64.iso
2.ubuntu-12.04.3-server-amd64.iso
and i have problem tu mount cd , first i burn ISO pw-136-server_07.JAN.2014-ubuntu12.04.3_amd64.iso to VCD and than i command in vbox
1.mkdir /cdrom
2.mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom ada writed ( no medium found on dev/sr0 )
I beg the solution to mount pw-136-server_07.JAN.2014-ubuntu12.04.3_amd64.iso :thumbup1:

Is it possible to change gshop.data? Will the gamework if I modify it? Or do I have to send items thorough send mail? Can someone give me their gshop,data?
if im not wrong, shop is empty, you must add items to it or get a gshop with items (yes, you can change ghsops but remember the timestamp)

but i have a old gshop (cant remember if have or not all items, got it time ago from some pserver), so test it and remember to sync timestamps

The gshop provided with this package is in English I can assure you of that, it is just empty. Load the editor import the empty gshop and add the items you want. Does it take some time, yes, is it difficult not hardly. If you have ever ran a 126/136 server you would understand time & effort in getting something working.
i mean the one i give to that guy, is on br or something, and prices are 0.1 or 1 cubi
so starting from a blank gshop or use the one i posted, boths ways need edit

I didn't use that image, but as far as I know that's just an un-altered 12.04.2 install ISO for Ubuntu right? Check the MD5 hash, see if your image is not corrupt. Also why are you mounting an Ubuntu ISO anyways? You should just be able to mount the image with whatever VM software you're using and install it from the .ISO.Quote:

Whenever I am trying to access pwAdmin from the outside, as example my phone's 3G network, it simply gives me the following message: "HTTP Status 403 - Access to the specific resource () has been forbidden."
I have opened both 8080 and 8443, but somehow this error keeps showing up.

What have you opened the ports on? Depending on your setup, if you have a firewall on Ubuntu it would need to be opened there, router? it would need to be opened there, do you have dsl? does that modem have a built in firewall? It would need to be opened there.
I can assure you this package does work, and is beyond simple to install, modify and use. Not trying to be rude, but if you can't run this package you don't need to run a server.
What ip are you using to connect? also are you connected to the same internet as the host computer or using the service providers internet for your cellphone?Quote:

Connecting through the same network to my server on cable and wifi works perfectly fine without restrictions or errors, ports are opened and checked through some website where you can check if you ports appears to open or not. Still, from what I've understand from Post #2 , 8443 is being used for pwAdmin, this was also opened(which is even warned that it actually shouldn't be opened), but still results into "HTTP Status 403 - Access to the specific resource () has been forbidden." once I try it out through my cellphone's 3G network.

Ehm... If I can't run the package, why does port 80 site work from the outside then? And why is the game server running just fine even from outside my local network.
The only thing that appears to be working beyond my knowledge is Tomcat, where I thought all I had to do was opening 8080 and 8443. Appears to be thinking wrong there. Even google doesn't help me that much resolving the error, this is also why I've been posting this on the forum in the hope of finding a solution for it.
However this is what I am seeing once I am trying to access pwAdmin from outside my local network.
Inside my network appears to working just fine, no matter from which PC in the network I'm accessing it.
Well, the thing is i cant mount it. Maybe i do it wrong or my computer is bad... Anyway here is the pic http://imgur.com/SWuaDT0

When not on your network, ie on 3g, are you trying to connect with the internal ip, or the external?

Going to 8080 just gives a blanc white page(which is normal, since there's nothing there only folders), which iweb and pwAdmin gives the 403 error from the screenshot.
The error only happen while a connection from the outside tries to fetch the page.
From a computer in the local network, it does work perfectly fine.
The issue is just from the External ways.

For security purposes (and the audience this package was designed for in mind), all access to pwAdmin and the "admin" like aspects have been forbidden from external networks. This was accomplished by .htaccess and by tomcat / valve.
I would suggest not eliminating it, but customizing it to fit your needs (assuming you're an advanced user this will be no problem for you).
Simply change or add IP's you want to ALLOW in .htaccess
IE: (current setup)
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from 127.0.0.0/255.0.0.0
allow from 10.0.0.0/255.0.0.0
allow from 192.0.0.0/255.0.0.0
allow from 172.0.0.0/255.0.0.0
That's just the 'basic' HTTPD security included in this package, add or change that accordingly in ../htdocs/admin/.htaccess
In order to change tomcat / valve, the following is the default set up of this package:
<Valve className="org.apache.catalina.valves.RemoteAddrValve" deny="*" allow="127.*.*.*,10.*.*.*,192.*.*.*,172.*.*.*" />
That's the basic valve security I implemented in tomcat, that can be located in ../webapps/{appname}/META-INF/context.xml
I would not suggest removing those defaults, as those will continue to permit access from a local network, I would suggest adding external IP's (or subnets) that you trust to connect to administrative pages. If you remove this basic security all together then anyone will be able to (or attempt to) connect to your administrative pages (which ya' don't want!)...

textures.pck.files\textures\nature is the location, there is a dds and a tga, not sure which it reads from though, can't remember.

The server was working perfectly for two days, today I turned on and it happened, can anyone help me please?
Map online? GS01 and is62? all services online?

Forgive my newbness, but, when I try to copy the server files into my virtual machine from a physical drive, it makes a lot of noise and seems like its working really hard for ages and never tells me that it's done. I let it try to run for over an hour, and it doesn't seem like a 1.25 gb collection of files should take nearly that long to copy.
Also, I get a device I/O error when unpacking the client... I get the error specifically when it gets to the "music" directory. or do I need to mount this with a virtual drive and run it that way, instead of unpacking it like I was doing?
Also, I get the message that "this is not a valid disk image" whenever I try to burn any of the ISO's (aside from ubuntu) - would unpacking them in 7zip and burning them that way be the culprit of any of my woes?
I've tried poking around the web, and reading a few pages in this thread, but I haven't come across anything like this in any of the places (maybe I didn't read enough of this thread, but at 244 pages...)
UPDATE: when copying directory by directory, it seems that my drive is getting especially hung-up on "opt."
UPDATE 2: Upon even closer examination, the problem is in copying apache-tomcat-5.5.28. I've tried on various disks, and my VM will shut itself off when trying to copy this specific folder. I'd hope that it was an error in my download, but it doesn't seem like the image would unpack without a warning if there were a bad segment in my file.
I've checked the hash on the server iso, and it seems to be fine, I just can't imagine why things won't seem to copy over at all.
Tried checking the hash on the client, and my windows machine froze up entirely.... I'm going to take that as a sign that my download was incomplete or corrupt in some way.

but checking the hash dont froze the pc, even if the file is screwed. that is weird
I managed to get all of the server side stuff working... I think that my DVD burning program must have screwed up my disk, writng with a different program, it seems all files copied over... it's all running, and I did everything according the the video (changed the IP's and all), but I can't seem to get anything to load.
I will state it yet again, DO NOT FOLLOW THE VIDEO OR ANYTHING IN THE SECOND POST! It is for the previous package and does not go with the newest files/package.
For the record, I wasn't using the latest release, I was using the older files that are listed in the second post.
I'll try the newer release, though, in the hopes that I'll have better luck with it.

I have no clue what you're talking about since right now there are 4 seeds. Not to mention the torrent will be taken down completely hopefully by the close of today. I found a MAJOR problem with the 136 of the newest package, will be fixing and starting a new torrent.
For those who already downloaded it, it shouldn't be too much of a problem as it should verify the files you already have, therefore you will only really have to download the files that have been updated. Which so far appear to be pw_dev.iso and the 136 server...
Have been seeding for 31 weeks for a total share ratio of 3317, so no clue what he is talking about.

Ive got a question. Ive installed everything as it should be but when i try to log in the server doesnt show up as green nor there is a response from the server.
virtual box says my Ip for eth0 is : 10.0.2.15 but when i type 10.0.2.15/admin in the browser it just says the page is not available. I tried changing it to that in server txt file but i still can not login. I even tried the one 10.0.0.51 as it was there from the beginning but that one does not work either. How do I find out my Ip adress whcih the server runs on? Im running the server in virtual box as it should i guess. thank you!

within your new release /the torrent/ i cant use the old commands where i could view all the ip adresses and subnet masks..it does not work anymore

That's probably because most networks HAVE DHCP running on them, and you MUST *cancel* the "auto network configuration", and tell it you'd like to MANUALLY configure it.
That's ok, once it's done no reason to go back an install agian, just edit /etc/network/interfaces

It should be, the new one is too minus the crafting in v136 - the pending update will resolve that though...
I reinstalled ubuntu and now when i tryto install the 136 version of ubuntu with ./install-pw it asks me if I want to install it twice..i press y twice and then just enters the command line without proceeding to install ...before i managed it to work, it said unable to mount or no file in directory. I cant seem to mount the iso of ubuntu in the settings-storage-controller, so i mounted it in outside programme.
after first Y it says copying etc ..do you wish to run setup now? i press y..and then it just turns me back to command line /root@user:/cdrom#/..the first time i tried it it worked
Sounds like it didn't really copy anything anywhere. May be a mounting issue if you're changing up how you're doing that...
You can also try manually copying over the two installation files to the HDD and launching the install that way...
the problem was i installed v136 and then 131 but I only had 131 client. that wouldnt have worked right? so now i rebooted the terminal and installed v136 and it is asking me for LAN IP..what do i enter there if I may ask? my normal IP? or the only i had before? 10.0.2.15? thats what it showed before!..it saysing 10.0.0.51 so i assume thats the one. i will be honestly thankful

edit: nvm..i entered an lan ip as stated in ipconfig/all ipv4 and wan as in whatsmyip.org
edit: /etc/network/interfaces gives me acces denied
Your IP is whatever you make it... You should be configuring your IP during the installation of the OS. If you're not (DHCP beats you to the punch), you should be manually configuring your IP by editing /etc/network/interfaces and rebooting...
10.0.0.51 is not your IP, (well technically, it COULD be) that's just what it was set up to run by default because that's what MY network uses. MY network uses 10.0.x.x, your network is likely different than mine. Then again my network is HIGHLY customized... If you're like most people, and just using a normal consumer grade router you're likely 192.168.0.x, or something to that nature...

tried putting several ip adresses in browser x.x.x.x/admin and none really loaded
when i enter my ip adress..i guess its the ip of my wifi router a page shows up saying Username or Password is incorrect.

Now when I enter 192.168.0.110/admin into webbrowser it asks me for login. I enter pwAdmin and pssd root and then it loads but it says "Connection timeout. Server XX ping is too long" /my webbrowser is in diff language/
