Not sure whats going on with the crontab. As I have the same information on my test server and everything works but on the main server nothing works.
@343 is the Iweb that comes with your release 100% working? I was looking around with it and i didnt change anything and a get a lot of Http status 404 - servlet cgi is not available. I have not checked to see if there was a guide to installing it yet but thought I would ask you first.

Is there a link for the files without the ISO? Example just the 1.5 server files alone?
Im pretty sure you can obtain the 1.5.1 files that are from the iso by opening the installer file and look for the url in which they are installed from, or you can do alittle more work than that and find a guide on here (mrkiller has a good 151 guide) and download the files fron there.
Is there an easy way to upgrade 343's release from 1.3.6 to 1.4.6, the reason I am asking is cause currently I am running his 1.3.6 server and have active people on it but with 1.4.6 it provides some of the features the players are wanting. What I want to know is how hard would it be to transfer the accounts from 1.3.6 to 1.4.6
You can just install 146 on top of it; The accounts would be preserved, but the toons would be deleted (if that is what you want).
Well no I want to transfer both the accounts and the characters when I do the upgrade if that is possible as I don't want to lose the players I have currently.

Ok I had a weird problem pop up, on my test server I edited the crontab and everything was working. When I shut the test server down and later loaded it back up with another test message the message would not go through on the crontab but i could manually call it and my main server the crontab is still not working properly both are using 343's release
There are many ways to figure out whats going on with cron here's a few:
Check the logs:
Watch cron as its running:Code:grep CRON /var/log/syslog
You could even log the jobs in question by passing the output to a file:Code:tail -f /var/log/syslog | grep CRON

Now some of my players have come from older 1.3.6 servers that had shut down and they were saying they had some of the newer features from 1.4.4 but still used the 1.3.6 client. I was wondering if that was even possible. Some of the features they were talking about where the socket stone quest for adding sockets to gear, and the tab targeting as well as auto tracking.
I tried to setup FW but for some reason the map service stays offline. I have searched & found nothing yet. Anyone knows whats causing it? I'm just trying to have all the server ready to play because I want to play all of them in one point.
I installed the server fresh, anyone happen to have the slightest idea why i am getting "Server error, please log off and try again" every time i log in on a newly made character?

It could be that pwAdmin wasnt updated for that version that you are trying to use and there is a file that became corrupt. I believe clsconfig within the gamedb folder can corrupt depending on the server version that you are trying to use if you try and start the server with pwAdmin.
My question for everyone is does anyone happen to have the server files for version 1.3.8? or could tell me when the cubboard stones and wardrobe stones worked.

Is it possible to have working cubboard and wardobe storage in 1.3.6? I have been trying to see if i cant find anything within the interface.pck but honestly I have no idea what I am looking for.
this work with linux mint(kde 64bit) what based on ubuntu 14.04? another question, if i want latest version only then what files do i need? pw_dev.iso+ubuntu 12.04 server amd64+151 client+151 server file?
you would need to install 12.04 version of ubuntu as that is what this pack release is based off of you can install it on other versions but not recommended as it can cause problems. If you want that version yes you would have to install that as well as the 1.3.6 version as I believe 1.5.1 is based off the 1.3.6 version as a base.
I would not recommend using a desktop OS i would only recommend a server OS.

I was wondering if these files could be installed on a PC and use the PC as a hardware server and use 2 other PC's to more less play LAN? if so how would I be able to connect 2 PC's in the same house through the router?
you will need to use a virtual machine to install the server on , you would then connect the clients to the virtual machines ip, no need for port forward either.
If you play only at home the Server and host it there, you dont need any port forward.
how to copy server files to virtual machine? i got Oracle VM VirtualBox, i installed the ubuntu 12.04 to it but i stucked here.

It should be folder a29 if im not mistaken as that is what it is for 1.3.6 not sure if it changed for other versions
To get the Serverfiles onto the VM, you can extract the iso file with WINRAR or 7zip for an example and copy these 2 Datas into your VM with the Program called WinSCPQuote:

i have cdrom directory in media, check the 1st screenshot in previous post, there i listed the ubuntu server cd content, there these directories in cd, i can mount the ubuntu server cd but the pw server 1.36 and 1.51 give error.
(mounting ubuntu server files i did via VM menu+'mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom' or with 'mount /dev/sr0/ /media/cdrom', whatever other files can mount just pw server not, thats why i extracted and copied to root directory in VM ubuntu server)

okay, so in winSCP right click on the install-pw file, click permissions, and give the owner execute permissions, (last tick box top row) then try running the file again, i do believe it does not matter where the files are it will install the same. and if i am wrong when the directory "root" is referenced its talking about "/" >.>

looks like you need to assign more ram to it,

i installed ubuntu, used sudo passwd root then loged in with root then copied 1.36 files (that 2file) with winscp and typed cd / and ./install-pw and typed y
i waited half hour and nothing, whole server just waiting and do no any activity like in screenshot.
(btw how much ram needed for run the server for max 2 people?i shared 1gb in VM, i use bridge network and VM share 12 vga ram and 1gb ram and 1st time installation was ok then got that killing msg's but was installed with daemon so i reinstalled but 2nd/3rd times the 136server was unfinished installation)

i reinstalled 4 times and same problem, with stucking at copying like on picture :/ why its do that? i removed the virtual drive before reinstallation and deleted all data when VM asked and created another drive, shared ~2gb ram and 64mb video ram 10gb disc space etc
during installation (when i use install-pw after ubuntu is installed) i must mount ubuntu server cd? or script dosn't use it anymore after ubuntu is installed?

bump? why got can't install it? (install-pw and other file was in root, what is '/' and was chmod 777 to both file)
the directory '/' is the basic root directory.
for me when i login and can type in terminal, i am in x:\root\ directory not in x:\, if i want go to theoretical root directory (x:\) i must type in terminal cd \ .
i copied the files to both root (example x:\install-pw and to x:\root\install-pw)
seems if i start from x:\root\install-pw then its work but if i use the x:\ then never working.

are you know what i missed? i used my VM ip (192.168.1.6) in serverlist.txt too and used same ip at pw server installation ending where asked the lan and another ip.
(next problem the wine doesn't let run the AddAccount.exe from dev cd image and few other, but most important is the AddAccount for test)
goto pwAdmin and start the maps, then the server will "turn on"

Now I want to try pw 146 with 5 races. I download and install the server and client for 146 mentioned in first thread but confused.
Can you provide installation guide for 146? both server and client.

i succesfully setted the client 1.36, in PlayOnLinux its freezeing but in normal wine its work well
-still problem with can't use the pw dev tools because 90% not work in linux with wine, idk why.
-the pwadmin panel is very nice, can change exp there and cultivation and few thing (but can't trash cultivation quests and show to me both culti19/29/39/49/59 etc in quest list what annoying)
i sent mails with pwadmin with darkflame stones (gem section) then get item from mail with my char and get a crossbow instead of gem and a instant dc and again got same dc when i tryed relog in game but i noticed the world map became offline and after i relaunched the map i was able login but can't delete the mails with that stone.

well i found a gshop.data and that helped alot :)
not the exe itself give error just the wine but in few case the exe not even started, its show on taskbar (only bottom visible the wine try launch it but program itself never visible in that case) its try launch and after few second dissappear without error messageQuote:

When i installed photoshop in linux mint (via wine) then i installed vc and windows core fonts for work ~properly, these + vb runtime+dx9 installed now too but these tools not work

i got few problem with 1.51 client, its try update but its cant ofc but when i click to start button then ask again for patch ... and i click to start button (sometimes appear the graph settings, not allways) became dark the buttons but nothing happend, game not launched and ~10sec and launcher disappear.
server side: i installed the 1.51 after 1.36 and pw admin panel work well
client side: i installed the 151 to a different folder (it was default), installed directx too, changed ip's how i did with 1.36, seems have problem with launching element.exe directly or indirectly (from launcher click to start)
*1.36 client working(unlike 1.51) only now cant connect to server because installed 1.51, well i also want try it the 1.51 so if possible don't want turn back to 1.36
i tryed with PlayOnLinux aswell and same problem, tryed with wine 1.2.x and with 1.7.x but same :/

i installed alot packages and stuff, tryed on PlayOnLinux (with more option), Crosssomething (trial version and similiar like wine), installed several run time stuff and 1.51 client do same problem...element client no launched.... have no logs aswell (s2ccmdlog.bin only file there and empty)
so i deleted every crap, like .wine directory and every installed stuff what was related with wine name :D
then i reinstalled

I've managed to get the 1.4 client working but it never read the pck files properly it always showed black icons not the actual images, 1.3 clients worked like a charm not had a play with 1.5 yet.

From what I recall I used the frameworks and other bits from winetricks, i was also using Ubuntu 13.04
I figured out how to get a team into q20 but right now its a blank map so how to I get a NPC that will take them out of the instance or do I have to just let them get a timer and then leave that way?
Add an npc with npcedit, make a quest to teleport out and put the quest on it

well i would try redownload just with firefox i can't do this because of limitation, i googled but not found how to bypass the 5gb download limit for Mega.

@shadowvzs To enable territory wars you have to go into gamesys.conf under gdeliveryd and find the line battlefield=0 and change it to battlefield=1. This will enable territory wars.
Now I have a question. I was testing upgrading my test server from 1.3.6 to 1.4.6 I was able to get the characters to load in the 1.4.6 however I am unable to log in with them as it says cannot connect to server. I remember reading something about that but I do not remember where. I was however able to create another character and login with that char so I am not sure what I did wrong.

Yes if you delete the item that was sent that was wrong you should be able to log in again. I have used the send mail myself but usually i just use the list not the manual as if you do the manual you will have to know the hex information as well.

Yes, if the item you are trying to add an item that the game does not know exists then it could really cause a problem.

These are class was never added but was in plan? somebody have info about them?
Those names are actually the default names of the classes I do not know why the are named different within the files to the actual ingame names.

There have been files released that do that but I would not recommend that as it can cause the server to be come unstable. Another way is adjusting the time clock on the server but again it caused unexpected results that you might not want to deal with. As for the boutique agent yes you can add it as long as the server files you are using holds the information on the npc and has the right models as well.Quote:

Bosses rage is possible by elements.data, if you mean the 1 shot skill from armageddon in 3-3 then look at monsters and then skills.
The disabling of multiclient indeed should be configs

Now back to the TT bosses what is happening for some reason they are able to hit people with 50k damage its almost like how in the later versions of PW if you don't kill a specific amount of mobs they will rage hit. I do not understand why they would do that with 343's release of 1.3.6 and really have no idea on what is needed to be done to fix it.
I have looked at the elements.data for both the client and server I am beginning to wonder if it is not in the AI file for TT that is causing the bosses to do it as not all bosses within TT are rage hitting nor are the bosses within FB's
Back to my question with TT bosses I know exactly what the problem is but coming up with a solution I have had no luck.
The problem is the TT bosses for 343's 1.3.6 release can rage as the monster kill count cant be lowered. I have attempted to add them into the tasks.data for 1.3.6 with no luck.
Any one have any Ideas how I would be able to add these tasks to the task data?
I have tried to figure this out myself and I cant seem to wrap my head about it... I know 343 ended up removing some of the UI for his client release my question is is it possible to get those UI items back?
