For some reason I cant get my client to connect to the patch server when running launcher.exe. I've noticed people commenting on Gemelentclient.exe which was not included in the files i downloaded from the main page. Are the file links on the main page up to date?

No where in the directory is an *.xup file which I am guessing is needed for updating clients. Any and all help would be appreciated. I know this must seem minuscule to everyone here, but I am new to the community. I have a vast knowledge base of networking and operating systems. I am a systems administrator for a local hospital running every os from Sun to iBSD. I can't believe I am stumped on something so simple. Once again any and all help would be appreciated! Ok, I just ended up replacing the patcher with spatcher and seems to be working. idk.

Maybe i didnt quite catch this but i seem to have an issue with the special skills, like (79) skills wich i cant seem to learn regardless of the coins or spirit i have, i added 50 mill spirit and plenty of coins and went to the sage demon world trainers to attempt learning there too and cant learn the 79 skills, i will be checking later in case same happens with sage demon skills, but is there a reasonfor this ? i get the books and all with no problems but cant seem to be able to learn them, my culti is done to lvl 90 my char is sage, so i chouldnt be having problems to learn them i think, doi need to complete the chrono quest to be able to learn them? or is the skills not working? Sorry for the basic question but i cant seem to figure this out.

79 skills (and genies) were implemented in 1.3.9 and 1.4.0. We are running 1.3.6, because it's the highest client version compatible with our old server files. Newer clients cannot detect server :(Quote:
