Really weird, I wonder if they only give a shit in the chicago area then maybe ??? Cuz here -- they sure really seem to care, you go over they will shut you off... I am not happy about any 'caps' at all -- and I initially signed up with my provider JUST because they had no cap... Well they have followed in comCRAPs footsteps and are now working on implimenting the same ridiculous 250GB per month 'cap'... Only difference is unlike comCRAP, who will shut you OFF if you go over twice, my company is planning on charging and extra -- I think it's $10 per 50GB used -- yea $10 per ea additional 50GB used (so not too bad, and a HELL of a lot better than being denied service)!!!

Only thing I can think of would be that Chicago has many more people all trying to use the internet at the same time, the Florida Treasure Coast area has a bit over half a million people while Chicago has 2.7 million people in that rather small area...

The genesis and tideborn territories can be captured in this release? It works fine?

If you are referring to TW than yes they can or at least the few in Earthguard area that I have tried.

343 i know you work a lot for each of your releases but it will be really helpfull if u attach some kinda of note or just a hint on the changes u make in each release well i know its kinda tough to keep in track when u work on a lot of stuffs but just a suggestion . And btw in my older posts i have mentioned about "gold auction glitch "
which says "Data import error " and as you said i totally re installed a fresh copy of server + the os and it was working fine for like a month now. But i am getting the same error now when i try to sell gold in auction house and also a weird glitch in marriage system that too is a recent one for me after couples are married the bride's name on groom's head "vanishes" but its still there on bride's and also when i press "c" character info it shows spouse as none but when i try to marry them both again through pwadmin app it says " bride or groom already married " but divorcing them works . This weird glitch i was trying to figure out the problem but couldnt find any solutions yet . and this happens after a relog soon after the wedding :?:.
Another one glitch is the character getting stuck while u take the first portal or teleport point in city of naught i mean the first "right" teleport point

Also in chappel foyer its like 50 50 chance to get stuck while moving in :P.
well i have tried a lot of times to ensure that its bugged and just not my noobness.

The marriage issue is a known one in pretty much all p servers, the only known solution at this point is to immediately drop squad force log out and wait approx 15 minutes for it to stick in database. As for the other "glitches" I am using this release as well and haven't found these so I can't comment on them.

Can anyone please help me ? I got an issue with Game Data Base Daemon... i deleted all the created accounts and now when i try to delete some caracters that are still in the data base i can't '' caracter delete failed'' can anyone tell me how to reset the database or does anyone know a solution ?

Btw ... Game Data Base Daemon even crashes sometimes when i try to delete

If you want to remove everything in gamedbd simply

1-) Stop ALL server "services"
2-) delete ALL gamedbd db's (files)[auction, base, city, clsconfig, config, equipment, factioninfo, factionname, friends, gtask, inventory, mailbox, messages, order, rolename, sellpoint, shoplog, status, storehouse, task, translog, user, userfaction, & waitdel]

any chance u could tell me some things about making new weapons ? i mean the way they look. at least cloning a look and change its color

You would need to edit the dds file of the weapon to change it's looks.

If you do a search, there are plenty of threads that show you how to create weapons, visually, and other tools to add stats to weapons. I learnt a lot about pw development by teaching myself, reading threads, and trial and error.

Could someone help me with a problem I have, I am resetting up my server on my own comp and have set up everything so it was the same as my current server.

I installed everything exactly as I did before except the IPs were changed to that of my local computer. Everything seems to work and loads up correctly except when I log in to pwadmin and go to start everything up I get the message everything is loaded but none of the processes are online, nothing at all, not even the log service.

EDIT: Nevermind I fixed it, realised I hadn't chmod'd the server files in PWServer :D

Just wondering, 343 when are you expecting to next update your release?

Just roughly, if you have any idea :D

Also, are you going to upload the whole thing again or just the changes, for changes you could use a binary compare, I think I remember das suggesting one somewhere.

Oh and if you want to know why I'm wondering, my internet changes to a new month in 3 days, and I am wondering if it will be out before then or if I should download the whole client now and when you upload it you will just upload the changes.

The genesis interfaces has also been updated for this upcoming release... However is not a top priority for me, so if there's anything you find 'broken' (even after this next update comes out) chances are I may never wind up 'fixing' it =\

Oh and BTW, sorry but it will be full file changes. This update will be so major even if I did (heed the advice of Das and yourself)"changefiles", the changefiles alone would still be 4GB+

So... all in all, pretty big - 'size & stuff' wise !!

I also wouldn't try to "guestimate" off of the current release file sizes because there really has been a LOT added. (all file sizes will be VERY different, except for maybe the server)...
