Look for my networking 101 thread![]()
Still doesnt work...I completely reinstalled ubuntu and did things as on the vid..but when I do the libs32 it shows me error at each line, which it doesnt for 343. Can that be the problem? I edited all the IP adresses in hosts and app and tomcat to the one in ifconfig eth and nothing.
Page wont load. Cant get proper IP adress for IP/admin
I am trying hard. Reinstalled ubunto several times. After the sign in it shows me eth0:10.0.2.15. ifconfig says the same. So I edited everything I should to 10.0.2.15. The page wont load anyway.
And why do I have so many hosts? 343 doesnt have that much (see pic)(there are actually a few more down)
Plus others:![]()

You don't need to change hosts....
BTW that video is even more dated than this package... But correct, you do not need to alter hosts.
did you already change network setting in vm?to bridge?
Normal you dont need to change anything. On instaled the server and done.
I cant only see the char list 'Loading Character Data Failed' show only.
thx in advance
That's your prob... You have to edit things found in second post.

So I reedited hosts back to 127.0.0.1 like it was and meh. Well I typed something in network/interfaces like I found it on google when I searched for bridge and it still aint working. Q_Q 343 log in on the teamviewer and do it ♥
have a whole list of errors http://www.4shared.com/rar/cu_a9xIc/errors.html

I have to apologize as I wont be able to personally check this over for a while if at all. (this package is old and now HEAVILY outdated). I'm about to be doing a beta for the update to this package!! Stay tuned... (I hope someone else can mow over your problems in the meantime to give you some kind of help)..
remember fix the "force change password" 343 :)
and cricket and adminier lol iweb even http://192.168.x.x:8443/iweb/cgi-bin/control.cgi?action=status
renamed iweb 136 to iweb and iweb works perfect except that link and everything related to cgi-bin doesnt work
I will look in to this, but I don't recall there being any issues with it...
From what I know, at least in the pending update, pwAdmin and iweb are completely functional. Also it wont be :8443 any more as I've since learned a security technique similar to .htaccess for apache httpd, for tomcat (valve), that will allow you to block access to things like pwAdmin and iweb except to either the LAN or even a single IP... Of course that though is for more advanced users, and by default will only be open to the LAN. (IE if you install your server on a remote dedicated host and then try to 'access' pwAdmin it will not let you unless you, as an advanced user, configure this yourself)... Cricket and adminer have never been a priority of mine, though they are still included (I've never even bothered with them myself)...
By the way, login to (example) 192.168.0.102:8443/pwAdmin not require a password and username, why?
If it didn't before, it does now...
it does but when i edited iweb136 filename to iweb the password of pwAdmin was gone although iweb works partly.
Eagerly awaiting you final release 343, I can only imagine what it will bring.
Hello!
I have a little problem with the install.
After the /root/notes ->./install.sh the hosts file is empty
Also the config.php and the .userconfig.jps
I use as sample as your video 343 and I do everything what you do. Except for one thing I used VirtualBox instead of vmWare.
Can you guys sugges me some tips what I can do for the full hosts and ect stuff?
Thank you!
I'm not really able to support this release any longer as I've been hard at work on the update to this package... The update will put this package (as it is in it's current state) to shame!![]()
