The interesting part is that you're just discovering this. My package has always had *anything* that could be construed as 'optional' set to NO or OFF or FALSE or 0 including TW. This one is no different, change the 0 to a 1 in the gdelivery configuration file...

The newest update to this package is now in a 'closed beta' state. Just figured I should let everyone know that so that it's known that there is progress being made
The only other thing I'd like to reiterate at this time is that the newest update to this package is going to make the currently available release look like the dogs **** on the bottom of your boot! Also there have not been many "in game" changes (I think I have said that before), the bulk and majority of changes come to the server side, and how the package is installed (installation has been made EVEN EASIER!). So, don't get your hopes up about some massive "in game" changes because there almost are none. Though if you want a much smoother installation, and even better organized server side etc, well, you'll just have to wait and see![]()

np :D
In light of the new package being in "beta" now I have begun to prepare for its release. I have made a few decisions on exactly what and how to do things for this next release/update. For starters I decided I'm keeping this same old thread (no reason to make dupe threads now!). I have also decided I will go ahead and keep the release as it's currently available, for people to continue to download, (if not for anything else) for historical purposes...
So, with that being said the first post has been blanked and will only reflect a "RESERVED" message until the release/update is available. The contents of the first post were merged with that of the 2nd post so that the historical release remains available for anyone who desires to download it at a future date...
Also this next release/update will be a TORRENT. I have decided it WILL be a torrent for multiple reasons. #1 First reason being speeds. Torrents have a capability at becoming available to download at MUCH faster speeds than any one given server/host (such as MegaUpload [when it was around] or 4shared or mega.co.nz etc etc etc). Also, on that note, #2 - it's very decentralized nature would make it almost impossible to "shut it down", so this release theoretically should never disappear once distributed via torrent, because unlike MegaUpload, 4shared, mega.co.nz or any other centralized file sharing 'service' it would be impossible for "them" to shutdown every single person that downloads and seeds this package!!! At the same time that's the only possible downfall, is that people will just LEECH and not SEED when they're done downloading for themselves. I personally vouch to seed pretty much indefinitely as long as other people are doing the same. If at ANY point in time in the future I notice people are only leeching I will stop seeding myself and gladly let the torrent DIE (the more people that seed the LESS bandwidth/resources it has to 'pull' from any given INDIVIDUAL). I wont have a problem 'dedicating' a certain % of my personal bandwidth to seeding it even, but if I start to notice I'm getting more and more of a 'load' because people aren't seeding - I will stand by and watch the torrent faceplant to its death!
So let this also serve as a WARNING: DO NOT JUST LEECH, SEED TOO !!!!!!!!!!
Another (not so 'big') reason I desire to do it this way is, I was SICK and TIRED of splitting files, as I HAD to do for the client. So this way I wont have to split ANY filesWhich of course in turn will just make it even easier for certain peoples who didn't understand the concept of file splitting or archive splitting. Also, by extension, at least in theory, checksum's / file hash's will no longer be necessary to check whether you got a good or bad download (though will STILL be included). Previously you may have downloaded from MegaUpload or 4shared or mega.co.nz er wherever and noticed, "shit, I got a bad DL, here we go again" by checking the checksum's/file hash's. Well, due to the nature of how torrent works, when it reaches 100% download, you will KNOW you HAVE gotten a GOOD COPY
!
When the release becomes available I will also create a link that will bring people directly to the first post concerning the newest release/update. Until then feel free to continue to post about the soon to be 'historical release'. Though once released, I do not want to see ANY further discussion or questions related to the 'historical release'
Okay, I am pleased to announce that it appears the beta is coming to a formal end (in about 2 hours technically) finally. Look forward to seeing this release/update VERY soon now!
If you have an UPLOAD connection speed of 12 Mbit/s or greater and would like to become an initial seeder please contact me NOW. (my PM box is CLOSED so you'll have to initiate a convo w/ me right here in the thread)
i can help seeding for ya at ma cc...

Okay, as of THIS post I do NOT want ANY further discussion on the old and now outdated version of this release. From here on out the discussion is to be on ONLY the new 07.JAN.2014 update... !!!
Thank you... ... ...
Only got 3 peers.. nobody downloaded n seeding it yet lol :ridinghorse:
ETA 9weeks and 2 days!!![]()
Yea, it really shouldn't take that long, but, I was not able to get as many initial seeders as I had hoped... It would appear even some of the package's "testers" aren't seeding if there are only 3 >.<
The beta had roughly 8 people >.< (so there should be 8 seeds right there <.<)
yeah..it shouldn't.. anyway i got 4 peers now ... ETA is 2d 14h.. but nvm i just wait while playing this..

added and rdy 4 seeding ...
Downloaded and seeding! Thanks for the release 343 and all the work you do!
Thank you again for your hard work 343, downloading and will seed, though my connection is pretty crappy >.<
Thank you all for also seeding and not just leeching. Like I've said before, I will seed indefinitely as long as other people do. Also, like in your case micropanther, I don't mind if people have slow connections, I'd rather have people seeding at say 56k than 0k because it all adds up
We now seem to be at a decent 'point' in the release stage that it seems I am getting a decent 'load' even without setting any bandwidth restrictions on the torrent, and that's exactly what I want to see for everyone here, including myself. If it ever gets to the point where not only do I see that it's trying to use 100% of my network resources, and/or that other people stop seeding is when I will do the same (and watch this torrent/package die)! So, in short, I don't care if you have dial up, or you set a restriction on the torrents max upload speed (obviously no slower than a dial up connections speed <.<), AS LONG AS YOU DO SEED, that's the point!
Well, i tested all server/clients now and only find 2 issues...
1. Why are the shops disabled?
2. FW not work. Server seems to get up, but map server is dow and the client not connect.
You done a very great job with this package, thanks ;)
1. I have taken the Boutique (gshop/cash shop) out of the game, it is useless as it only promotes the "free to play - pay to win" agenda!
2. I personally couldn't care any less than I already do, about FW, but it became a plan of mine to add it to my next update as an addon before RZ even got an FW section. There was only 1 or 2 releases at the time I made that decision and saw many people were having problems getting those working too, so I made it a part of this distribution since this whole package was designed to be the MOST simple to install and use. The only extent that *I* personally ever tested was that the server did indeed start up, which it did. I have never even 'opened' an FW client in my life. Although via my "beta testing" of this package I have heard that the FW addon works just fine. The only catch about FW (if you're having problems with it and or it appears to not be working) that I can think of is, you CANNOT use pwAdmin to start it like you can any of the PW packages. In order to have FW working, you MUST install it as a system service/daemonAlso, unlike the PW packages, FW being installed as a system service/daemon will ONLY start the world map (as I am unfamiliar with FW, and for the most part didn't even touch the files from the release that I downloaded it as), which is why you should also notice, when it's asking you if you desire to install FW as a system service/daemon it doesn't list a RAM requisite (like it does for ALL of the PW packages), that is because it only starts the world map, even when installed as the system service/daemon.
So, if you're having problems with FW I would recommend you retry it with installing it as a system service/daemon
Note: you don't have to actually re-install the FW 'addon' either, you merely must re-run "service pwversion" and answer YES when it asks you if you desire to install it as a system service/daemon...
Thanks for your detailed reply.
I'm with you regarding gshop.
I try FW as daemon service and i will comment the result.
EDIT: Not woking. Client says coms error. Also, the reg page is down.

Please don't be offended but can you at least tell us how you removed the Boutique? I'd at least like use it for fashions and such. As my payment for such information I'm seeding the torrent on days I don't have night classes and on weekends. I also plan on adding a virtual machine to one of my servers dedicated to seeding in the near future.
HTTPD always starts automatically. If the registration (default) web page is not working then you must have used a dynamic IP setup for your server OS (and at this point NOTHING will work, not even PW). Preferably you will need to set a STATIC IP for your Linux server OS. Another (not so reliable) method would be to discover the new (dynamic) IP after the OS boots and use that new IP. Using a dynamic IP is NOT supported for this reason: Every time you reboot the server you will have to alter the serverlist.txt (for PW) or server.lua (for FW), and also reset the server side config using "./ipset" from /root/
Simple, create your own gshop with the items you want in it, and replace the ones included with the server and client...
I already used a static IP... is my second step when i configure a new VM.
Like I said, the other PW servers runs very smooth with no problems or errors (servers and clients). FW is the problem.
Nevermind, i got this package for PW, FW is pure optional (but nice if in future releases runs well like the other servers included).
Thanks.
