i got only LM based on ubuntu 14/04 on my pc (no other operating system) so if possible i dont want downgrade my only used os
i check pw dev and its got windows applications with .exe extension, peoples use it with wine? or how to use with linux based server the windows applications?
i mounted the server files but its show have 2 file on stick: install and pw-151-server_07.JAN.2014-ubuntu12.04.3_amd64, if i click to install then its open in text editor if i open another file then open with Ark linux application :/

I was wondering if these files could be installed on a PC and use the PC as a hardware server and use 2 other PC's to more less play LAN? if so how would I be able to connect 2 PC's in the same house through the router?
you will need to use a virtual machine to install the server on , you would then connect the clients to the virtual machines ip, no need for port forward either.
If you play only at home the Server and host it there, you dont need any port forward.
how to copy server files to virtual machine? i got Oracle VM VirtualBox, i installed the ubuntu 12.04 to it but i stucked here.
seems at cd device when i tryed add like virtual cd rom the pw server iso then allways say error to me, attached the pic below...
i tryed enter to media directory but there only a cdrom folder and can't see anything else...
idk what to do :/
other problem if theoretical i will able setup the server, how to edit the server file with dev tools if the server is ubuntu 12.04 without graphical interface and wine?

another question why i install ubuntu server its ask what software i want install (Software selection): Tomcat, dns server, openssh, mysql etc.

another difference after i started follow the video there ask domain and name (skiped in video) then progressbar but at me ask domain, name (i skip) then username and password but cant skip this. in video only later ask the username and password.
if i setup in virtual box then still need VLM option or can choose entire disk at partition part of the installation?
After i logged in with root i typed 'mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom' but its said 'cd rom does not exist' but in dev directory exist if i check with ls.
idk why not let me insert pw server image /iso file, tryed 1.36 and 1.51. both give error

Anyone happen to know which folder is the frostcovered city is? i have a feeling i looked over it already in attempts to find it.
It should be folder a29 if im not mistaken as that is what it is for 1.3.6 not sure if it changed for other versions
To get the Serverfiles onto the VM, you can extract the iso file with WINRAR or 7zip for an example and copy these 2 Datas into your VM with the Program called WinSCP
somehow i was and connected to server but still no these root and other directories was was in 1st page and in video.
screenshot attached (i copied the extracted 1.36 server file to root and mounted the virtualbox ubuntu installer like cdrom)
i tryed run install-pw script but ended with same problem check the screens

thats because your in the "/root" directory, back up one directory to "/"
I've putted the Files in /root and then i used chmod 777 /root/install-pw .
For me it never worked to connect to the CD Drive
i finally i was was able to go to "/" directory but there missing alot stuff
-i use the ubuntu server what was posted in 1st pageexample:
mount /dev/cdrom /cdrom
cd /cdrom
cp -R * /
cd /root/ia32-libs
./install.sh
-on cd room no these directories (like root/notes or /root/ia32-libs or start.sh) after i installed my root directory totally clear and in cd [ubuntu server cd image] not have any root directory
-pw server files not work with install stuff(tried with chmod 777 but that simple have no error and no effect at all) and neither mountable in VM
*same illegal stuff when try sh install-pw
-ia32 lib not installed/instalable on 64bit screen below, something package or what missing

put the .iso file in the vbox disk tray (click the server and then settings i cant remember the specific tab its under but i believe it has a CD)

i have cdrom directory in media, check the 1st screenshot in previous post, there i listed the ubuntu server cd content, there these directories in cd, i can mount the ubuntu server cd but the pw server 1.36 and 1.51 give error.
(mounting ubuntu server files i did via VM menu+'mount /dev/cdrom /media/cdrom' or with 'mount /dev/sr0/ /media/cdrom', whatever other files can mount just pw server not, thats why i extracted and copied to root directory in VM ubuntu server)
-i extacted (pw server 1.36 files: was 2 file, install-pw and a big file) and copied to root directory with winSCP but if i try run install-pw its give error
anybody tryed with same ubuntu server than it was in 1st page? or why missing stuff on what i downloaded from mega?

okay, so in winSCP right click on the install-pw file, click permissions, and give the owner execute permissions, (last tick box top row) then try running the file again, i do believe it does not matter where the files are it will install the same. and if i am wrong when the directory "root" is referenced its talking about "/" >.>
root directory for me is root directory, but i now copy to "/" and now trying again there but seems its give same error (i post pic below).
i tryed in winSCP check out all crap but same result with error on screens.
how do you try to execute the file?
i only ask as this is the first time i have seen this error
i used sh install-pw command because long ago tryed install-pw only and doesnt worked, now seems work

i setted service daemon [yes]and the 2 times the ip's to 192.168.1.3 (its VM ip, i used this ip with winSCP) and its asked to reboot, then its give error, what is the problem?
[edit] after that i thougth about reinstall everything for check what happen if i choose No at that question but i stucked after typed ./install-pw and pressed y, its said copying *long filename* Please Wait and after ~10 sec hard disc activity (i heard the hard disc working and on VM bottom panel also show at indicates activity sata stuff) so after that 10sec its doing absolutly nothing, so i thougth i restart and tryed 2x more, but still nothing happened after 40min (neither hard disc acitivty)
