Is there any way to make the game server to read different encrypted passwords?
It would look something like this:
if($algorithm == '0')
{
return md5($string1.$string2); //(i know you might say that it reads them but it doesnt) also tried with 0x
}
elseif($algorithm == '1')
{
return base64_encode(md5($string1.$string2, true));

that would be the work of the auth then i assume

anyway i have downloaded the entire release 7-8 months ago maybe closer i dont remember just when u released it on torrent download method
so did you add anything new to the previous release you know like some tools , some scripts that run map way better and some sites beside the release 1.5.1 i hope if you can type some special notes like what is the new into it as sites/scripts/tools etc so i know if i will download all of this again or not you know 29 gb is alot to re download hahahaha

Just a couple of questions. I am going to be setting this up in vmware to check it out but. Is there some sort of replacement for the cash shop an npc or something in this release already or do I need to build one and is it possible to just use the installers to say install on a dedicated server where i cant do a complete os install from the included img?

No I haven't done anything different with adding/removing NPC's, although I still "blanked" the gshop.

Technically you /can/ run (install) on a server where you may not have direct version control of the OS (IE the *required* v12.04.3). There is an UNSUPPORTED command flag for that. I have to say "unsupported" because if someone uses said command flag to force an installation yet it doesn't work, I plan to NOT offer "help" with that. Though the command is included for those who "know what they're doing" (such as - for example - someone installing to a rented dedicated server machine with Ubuntu 12.04.5 instead of 12.04.3)...

So, to see a list of all available command flags for the installation type "./install-pw --help"

Thanks ill do a little tutorial with it when i get it running. I dont have a choice I dont have the kind of connection I need for a server here. Which is sad cause I have one in storage rotting away.

Nope. Working just fine and pretty much satisfied... actually not just pretty.. Im awesomely satisfied with it.. lol..

Its works on every OS, but if ur saying about the running and hosting servers, u need ubuntu for it. Its included in the 1st post.


P/S:- For those whos "wants/trying/attempting" to change the exp/drop/sp/money drop rates for 151, well u cant.. I tried.. ptemplate only takes active for drop and money rates, exp and sp remains standard rates. So my suggestion would be, change the team party exp rates instead, in the same file, ptemplate.conf.. over-rates will make it not working at all, in my case, my team party exp rates is;

1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9,10,10

I am using the latest Tasks editor in your package, am currnetly using PWI 1.5.1 V 101, however your tasks editor when saving starts at 105...


Would this be a reason for server crashing? incompatable tasks.data and server files? Or am I editing RB / Nirvy / TT entry reqs wrong?

( Changing entry reqs to 1 and 6, from 3 and 5 Or Nirvy 6 and 6 )
