This is true... they will just modify the client exe to accept and use up to 4GB files =\
which is why we needs a 1.4.4 client that works with our server files :P
or a server (or emulator) that works with the 1.4.4 client ...

okay i have a lot of questions :/ i hope this isn't to much of a hassle i noticed that all the files are ISO's do i need to mount them for any of this to work ? i watched the youtube video of how to do it but it doesnt show any of the initial setup like what to do with all the files after download and what to install ect it just starts with u having VMware already running i havnt attempted to install the server yet because i want to know how to do it right the first time :) also a few other questions i have are is there anyway to edit the site that u gave us like backgrounds ect maybe move some buttons and where would those files be located ect.
also i have never hosted a client game i have only hosted games like habbo hotel and runescape so how would i go about getting my client to others i have looked for a way to make a installer but still no luck and i tryed to just upload the hole folder but its too big :/ no host will take that big of a file is there a way to break it up into parts and just have a application install it to there computer ? instead of me having to give it out and have them edit the files themselfs? also how to set up a patch server ? i have absolutly no idea of how to set that up :/ and how would i make a cup file ? for them to use as a manual patch (incase the patch server lags my host to bad) and how would i change the server version for the client to read that there version of the game is out of date ? :/ sorry for all these questions and if u cant answer them all that is fine :/

WOW Wall of text, not exactly a way to impress or get questions answered. Learn to search and read, pretty sure, regardless of what language you speak you are taught to read. Once you have learned to read and search come back with what you still don't understand, and above all else try to do something first on your own.

There is also guides in this forum to help you along.

Well, I have a question for you, but first I want to apologize for two things:

So, I installed all the packages posted here, worked perfectly and with audio in the City of Tellus , but after installing Genesis interface and translate a few things in configs.pck there is no sound in the background beyond the new city except for my own footsteps, and returning the original interfaces.pck and surfaces.pck dont fix it .
So, does anyone have any idea what have I done wrong and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
Copy this file to element/maps/world.
Also make sure, that you have all music files like PWI client in element/music (I assume that you have, because it worked before).

343, don't know if you've fixed this in your latest update, but you know the secret quest listed at pw database Scarlet Gate, the Elder sends you to go pick Bloody Jade. I'm doing that quest at the moment, and there's no bloody jade (I'm not swearing honest lol) to farm around the Scarlet Altar (103,507).
I'll add some in myself to farm for the quest, but thought I'd better let you know :)
seriously this cpw is getting on my nerves
i did all u said 343 but is sooo bugged i cant launch my game anymore had to use a backup
this is what i did :
unpacked all the .pck files and renamed each to just the name example models.pck-->models(folder)
then put in the server in the /opt/cpw/files/new/
and run the ./cpw initial
all ok so far everything looks good
then i try log in with my client it says folder files corrupted so i try verify...
there its fucked up it gives me error on a script so i replace the hole script.pck
then it gives me error on 2008.stf replace the interface.pck
and so on with a huge amount of different files in different pcks
i did something wrong?
P.s. with spatch doesnt work too anymore(if i dont use the backup)
