Hey Community!
I have the same problem as Blastboy
No matter what I try it always comes back
* connecton to database failed *
What exactly do I do with them is it?
Please help, (
Check your configuration files ( Dunno the file exactly since I haven't downloaded this ), but what you want to look for is something along the lines of either
A:
B:Code:mysql_connect("host","mysql user","mysql pass")
Change the variables to what you need to.Code:mssql_connect("host","username","password")
normally it'll look like,
Code:--sql_connect("localhost","root","")
Then go to either your mysql or mssql manager, and make sure you import/create any needed databases/fields. Again, not sure if the OP included any sql file, but if they did then just run that and it should make them for you.
if you use xampp 1.7.1 and mssql 2005
you have to get a new ntwdblib.dll
and put it into your apache-bin folder and replace the old one
and in your php folder replacing the old one
http://rapidshare.com/files/438459905/ntwdblib.dll
here you go(A) tell me if you got it fixed
@ Blackbox
Thanks for your help, but not quite understand it.

But still I get this to not run = (
Do you have ICQ?
If so please send me your number via PM?

EDIT:Blastboy Come pls MSN
connection to database failed
Just throwing this out there, but if you've just started coding it in OO, then it might be worth looking into an MVC Pattern. It's the industry standard way of making Web Applications, and will save you a ton of time in the future (and makes your codebase a hell of a lot more organised).
It might also be worth looking into a framework which will set up the MVC Pattern for you, handle caching (important when your CMS is being used by a lot of people), Database I/O (making it hella secure, and possibly give it support for multiple types of database depending on how you code it), templates (so people can edit the visuals of their site easily), URL Handling, and a ton of other stuff.
Personally, I'd recommend Hydrogen or Kohana at the moment.
