    DYO Manager

    DYO Manager

This is an updated version of what it once was. Everything is loaded for you upon opening a file. You can click the list of movers and edit the information on the fly.

I haven't ironed out the bugs all the way so there are bound to be some errors here and there. Its not a complete release but its more stable than the last one.

    Here are some basic directions:

Open the DYO file of your choice. The list of movers and objects are to your right.

Upon clicking an item on the list it will load the values into the form for editing.

When you are finished editing a mover you MUST click Apply Changes or it will NOT save. I did this as an idiot proof error handling so no errors are created when making movers and things.

To add a mover click add mover when the file is loaded otherwise its pointless to do so.

Everything you need to edit is on the form. Make sure to spell the NPC name correctly or you run the risk of crashing flyff and the program editor (not sure why on the latter)

DO NOT CLICK the END object. It crashes the program and I am fixing it at this time.

    So here is the program:

    Credits:
    Xadet3 for file format

I also want to mention Spikenspor (spelled correctly?) for his program. It gave me a better understanding of my existing program.

This gave me a good laugh. xD

Hmm, well, I'm new to this DYO editing. xD

How exactly do I use this? What I mean is, which files do I open with it? data.res, datasub2.res, etc? Thanks in advance. <3

Edit: Nevermind. I got it. =D

    Re: DYO Manager

You have to get a DYO file from inside a res file of a world. So if you want to edit Volcane you would first open the res editor and extract the dyo file. then open the file in my editor. play with the values or add your own.

Save the file and then put it back into the res file and save the res file.

Now head to volcane to see what it looks like.

Basically now you can clone the Info Pang anywhere in the game.

Or maybe you want Boboko (the upgrade NPC?) in Darkon or Saint Morning. Now you can.

    Re: DYO Manager

Can't seem to use this on my windows 7- Ultimate, I also tried it on 3 systems that had windows 7 RC Build:7100. And since windows 7 comes with .netframework 3.5 I have no clue why it wont start, any ideas on how to get this to run.

I've ran as admin, and tried to change the compatibility.

If you read in the development section I believe its stated this isn't completed, and its buggy atm, try another one of the dyo managers in the development section theres one their that works.

    Re: DYO Manager

You'll need direct X to use it, its not really functional atm, atleast not when I used it, it kept saving information incorrectly, look for spikens dyo manager in the dev zone.

    Re: DYO Manager

I'm not sure I get this.
In the world file, in the official files, there's like 50 ".res" files, in the WdMadrigal folder, which one do I use?
I'm trying to add Buff Pang into various places of flaris
