ya the npc editor doesnt work ether has anyone got this piece of shit working missing files there is no missing files i added it to my resource folder and it crashes doesnt matter what type i use face facts it doesnt work period

ok so what windows are you using cause this thing really doesnt fuction it just crashes when u open it i have all 3 files and the items files in the same folder in resource also tryed them not in the folder in resource tryed the iconless version its all same thing and yes i have net framework mines version 4 tho
I use windows 7(x64) but before i post it, i tryed on a windows xp(x86) and it work.
Try with this version.
it verify all files existence before use them.
So you will get an error before crash who tell you which file missing.

ok got it semi ready to start says i need itm_WeaAxeCurin.jpg but this isnt in my item.res
It says I'm missing propitem.txt and .txt.txt or w/e but I have them both in the folder, any ideas?
i have the same problem =(
did u use res editor to copy the data from item.res in to the folder provided? then drop in the 3 txt files

u need three files: propitem.txt, propitem.txt.txt and character.inc
Weird problem. try to use process monitor to find where he look for files. Maybe there is a unexpected problem on your computer.
hmmm weird try uploading you item folder unpacked the one that works for you i hope thats not to much of a pain everything seems t work correctly i just dont seem to have the right files
yes that would help ALOT no matter how many files i add to the "items" folder i never seem to have all of them, also it keeps asking for .jpg files which the item.res files don't seem to contain. I've tried converting the .dds files to .jpg but even then no dice, still missing files.Quote:

mmm Yes even after i looted that directory, my server items folder and my client items folder it says I'm still missing jpg's. has anyone else had any better luck? This program would be so helpful and a such a time saver if i could get it to work :P
could maybe someone that has it working upload their "Items" folder (minus their propitem and char files if they need to :D) Thanks

OK I just filled in the images it couldn't find by copying and renaming another jpg and naming it to the missing file.
now the editor just crashes without any missing file errors:grr::
