    thumbs up Flyff Packet Analyzer

    Hello,

new emulator development projects has been opening up lately so I thought I'd release this tool which has been great help while packet sniffing.

You copypaste the hex data from a program such as wireshark and then the tool will create an byte array of it and then you define which types to read and in what order.

Can't really think of any informative things to say but whats been said above.

Program may be 3rd part released as long as the copyright stays.

    Program requires .NET 4.0.

    Download:

Read the readme.html in order for a brief help on operating the tool.

Rofl yeah but most interested is locked on his svn :|

Anyways this tool is awesome and if any bugs just tell me.
I wouldn't really want to add new things to it unless I do need it though but smaller fixes could be made.

You read the first byte 5E as a byte.
If the second type in the sequence would be string it would have 470 characters in it, 00 00 01 D6 is 470 (packets are always little endian, so you have to reverse it and use calculator). Obviously thats a big string and you dont have near that number of characters, and the reason you don't get any output is because the first byte of the string (not the string length) is the string ending character "\0". It's used in memory to be like an end point, "read until you see \0"...

Anyways I can't remember what kind of packet you logged, but to me it seems the sequence should start with something like:
    byte // packet identifier ^
    uint32
    uint32
    uint32 // packet header?

You use this program to see what kind of output you can get by swapping types, so you'll have to know at least what kind of values you expect to be shown.
