    Madrigal Project

Hello Ragezoners and Map Developers. I've finally successfully separated all of the maps without ANY errors <3 So you can now add an edited Darkon to a pre-edited Flaris, or Saintmorning/Visa Versa

    How it works:
Just edit the maps you want, and take all of the files in the map folder, and put it in WdMadrigal!

It's currently only v15, but you can easily add v16 and v17 maps too it with little to 0 errors Just requires a little brain power.

    Downloads:
    Madrigal Project v15.2
Madrigal Project v16 - Coming Soon!
Madrigal Project v17 - Coming Soon!

    PLEASE READ THE READ ME.TXT;

    Thanks and enjoy! - Tyler

Why does it take map experience to play with simple stuff as implementing maps?

Well really its an editor's tool and nothing more. So you should have a little bit of experience with BME.

    Re: Madrigal Project

    There are bugs.

    1. If you edit Darkon and add the .lnd files to an existing Madrigal, you will overwrite cells 12-05, 12-06 and 12-07 of Flaris.
    2. In Saint Morning, you will overwrite cells 14-05, 15-07 and 15-08 of Flaris.
    2. In Flaris, you will overwrite cells 14-05, 15-06, 15-07 and 15-08 of Flaris and 12-07 and 12-08 of Darkon.
    4. To fix the Flaris camera bug, use camera 6919.114 115.667 3248.066 0.398 1.981.
    5. To fix the Saint Morning camera bug, use camera 8419.938 125.963 3639.229 0.643 2.155.
    6. You have an existing .wld file in each map folder from a public Beast editor repack, the infamous "WdMadrigal - Kopie.wld" that nobody ever removes from their releases.
    7. Your modified NPC's and mobs will not transfer to the newly created Madrigal unless you know how to use multiple .dyo's.
    8. All your region info will not transfer unless you know how to merge .rgn data.

If you edit these maps and add them to an existing server's Madrigal or your own, the maps will overwrite certain cells, so it's kind of impractical unless the other map that's being overwritten isn't custom. Nice release but don't call it bug free when it clearly isn't.

    Those arent bugs...
#1. Last time I checked, nobody edits those tiny corners of the map on those .lnds.

    #2. What flaris camera bug?

    #3.
(If you want to edit NPC's, edit the .dyo in WdMadrigal, and don't replace it with the ones in the separate world folders.
#4. Thanks. It's bug free. I'll fix most of the other tiny stuff when I release v16

The camera bug because you didn't set the camera in a town or something before saving the .wld. People also edit tiny corners of the maps if they're doing a global retexture, vis-à-vis a small town edit. Saying it's bug free when it's clearly not will mislead members of this forum to waste their time downloading a bugged release only to find out it doesn't fully function the way they want it to, therefore spamming this topic or the help section with questions on how to fix various features.

BME is very user friendly and dosen't take long till you know most of its functions. If you're a FlyFF developer the least you need to know is about resource editing and that include maps.

Designing maps is something else, just like making a website layout and coding it is two diffrent things.

True, but I pretty much made this for the designers. True any developer can use them too, but obviously not as much as a designer would.

It's bug free, I'm uploading the "bug free" version to Adler's specifications since all of you wont stop going on about how buggy it is.

It's nowhere near adequate and it's such an easy fix. Nobody is hindering your development speed so it should take mere seconds to release, right? O.o
