    You cant make an entire site using gradients .-. Especially such drastic gradients like you used. Learn to use actual images in combination with very soft gradients.

    OT: yeah most of it seems bad, but don't think that our comments are to let you down, It's just to let you know what you need to improve so that in the further future you know what you need to do.

    Was this an actual website (coded in PHP, HTML, CSS) or was it just a photoshop image you made? Either way you need to look at other websites and look at their design. Dont copy the design just look at it and see bits that are effective. Your website isnt that effective and the bevel and emboss doesnt look nice. The whole thing is over the top, it doesnt give that unique, cool and lean effect. As i said, practice your design. However, the second design is alot better but after seeing your first design, there is no possible way you can improve that fast, you did not make the second. Plus i am sure ive seen it around ragezone somewhere.
