Welcome to the .SFX guide for the beginners, lets start!
What do we need?
Official SFX-Editor
Code:
Thanks to Buffmebuffyou for releasing
(Optional)
Rocknetwork Beast Editor
I suggest using the beast folder and paste it there to get the maximal functionality from it, pasting abit of that and this may make it abit too complicated for the beginners.
Code:
Originally it's Sedrikas' upload, so I'd guess the credits goes to him for his version of the Beast edition. (I find his less buggy)
- Step One -
When you download the .SFX editor, paste it into the Beast folder, afterwards you got a fully up-to-date folder. You can now start the SFX editor, it should look like this;

Tips:
- Step Two -
There is many ways of adding a SFX. I suggest using the Merge button next to Save. This way you can add multiple .SFX at a time! Click the Merge, select a SFX. After playing with the program for a bit, you should have an idea of what each SFX looks like. To play the .SFX, You can use the forward slash key(/) to play the sfx. For Nordic keyboards, theres a * ' button next to enter, to play on a Portuguese keyboard it's the ~ button. You can also move the SFX compared to the character. Click any dot on the board, then you'll see a red square on the 3D screen, then drag it toward the place you want it to be.

Tips:
- Step Three -
You made your first .SFX, congratulations! Now, we want to save it. The Save and Save button dosen't always work, and may NULL the file. Therefor, use the Save button over the Merge button. If you'd like to check the .SFX out as a skill, you COULD do following: Save it to the ex. Desktop as sfx_sklringgvurtialla02.sfx. This skill is pretty much useless and you could replace with any .sfx you'd want. Next go to your client and search for sfx_sklringgvurtialla02.sfx, drag the one you made, overwrite. I suggest not replacing anything you made in the actual beast folder, use it as a backup if you mess it up.
And there you go, basic steps from the .SFX editor.
(Optional) -Step Four-
If you want to use other models like monsters, to make new attack .SFX for them, you can do so by clicking the blue M in the "Menubar" (Look at the picture if you cant find it) When you clicked it, first thing you want to do is load the .CHR, by clicking Bone Load. Select the monster you'd want to use. If you also want to look on its animation, click the M again, then select the motion you'd want. You must select the motion for the monster you choosed else it will fuck up. Theres 5-6 you can choose from under the monster you selected. Theres both Walk, attack, dmg and stuff like that. Have fun!

Example
Here's an example of a finished .SFX. I used the skill "Protect", I didn't use any other skills. I've replaced it with the Ranger fire AOE and Giftbox .SFX's.
