Cabal Online Final Release

Got a question. I'm quite a newbie in setting up servers etc. but I can't get the server to work properly. I put all server files into /etc/cabal, also tried to edit all files with my centos IP, MSSQL password, but it simply doesn't work for me.
Can any1 describe (more or less in detail) how I have to install the server files correctly?

./cabal_install.sh

cabal_config

Providing you set the database up correctly, everything will work fine. Watch the video tutorials in the guides section.

Well, I tried both. Just using cabal_config overwrites the new worldsvr/dbagent etc. with the old ones from chumpy.

When I type ./cabal_install.sh ,it wipes the whole setup and replaces ALL files in etc/cabal with the ones from chumpy, which are located in root folder.
So I always get the "normal" server files back when trying to start the server with putty.

If you mean the DB in MSSQL, yes I'm sure I set the database up correctly, as I tried chumpy's setup before.

EDIT: What about editing the root folder, as the install command takes all info from there.

hmm i see you only make modifications for the server and client sides.. actually there isn't any server files that comes with the locaserver files. anyway, i do hope i can make cabal with MSSQL 2000 and SP4 :)

ESTsoft error really is bugging me ive edited everything i read about but still am getting the error someone tell me what is going on so i can get this fixed

Your databases are using Chumpy 1?

Yeah I'm Using Chumpy's but There is Few Costume Tables in my Databases Witch are connected to my Website :)

who can syer file cabalmain already fix cos so hard using cabalmain from this file ....error estsoft ....

i only changed the ip adresses in your .ini files in etc/cabal/

ok everyone ive fixed my client and server issues all except one that is. In the client i can connect and select character but when i goto log into the channel it times out

Provide some logs, we can't really help without.

nvrmind i figured it out the client uses the xtrap and my firewall was blocking it figured it out thx neway

Ok I'm gonna repost my problem. Basicly the same as Flubber got.
I installed Chumpy's release properly, can run it.
But now I don't know how to edit my server files with these new ones from Loca!
