On my windows 7 (where I keep my CentOS and DB files) your cabalmain works good.
However, I wanted to test my client on other pc so I copied the folder with Cabal and moved it onto other laptop (Windows XP) with my portable disk. All the files are the same and the problem is that when I start the game, only the XTrap window appears for a short moment and then nothing happens...The game just doesn't start.
I tried to run it with start-cabal.bat with husky and breaklee but both give me the same - nothing starts besides the xtrap :(
I tried with other cabalmain.exe (from Lost Spirit's patch) and it started fine, but I wasn't able to connect...
Is there anyway to make your cabalmain work on my Windows XP ? :S

Try changing version of a non modded cabalmain.exe . There are some that don't support version change.
