It is very unlikely I will start working with Cabal again as I have moved on to other games and other projects. I'm not a C++ programmer so I can't really help with these source files either.

I would recommend to someone to start up a development team that works on a public read-only (private for changes) using no license whatsoever (because the files are not yours to license them) and releasing them for educational purposes. This way everyone has the same files, can update really quick and a unified place to collect bugs and patches.
Do you think subversion system? I dont know Github or GCode would delete this or no. Because partially this is ESTSoft sources... We should to do and daily download a current version... If GoldHeaven and other peoples want than i will do it.

It can be done though Assembla or GitHub. Regarding the license, could be tricky but possible. If we want to organize the dev team, subversion is good place to start.

and also to the databases too...and try to build your own databases..

And please dont tease or force anyone who have the real files to share it here its their own decision to do whatever they want to do with their files...just stay focus in the project you already have the outline it will guide you to complete the missing scripts/files..
use the 100% of your knowledge and you will achieve what you want..As long as you can manipulate the source code you can add more updates that you want to add...
And also theres nothing wrong in buying server files,we dont know what they will do to it..maybe its for his/her educational purposes or experimenting with source codes or something like that...

We cannot connect because the cabalmain will crash because of the missing of that procedure:
cabal_sp_setloginstt which needs 3 arg (bGroupIdx,iUserNum,iUsingMin).
In conclusion if Cabal For Free will post the database, we will be able to log in.
We managed too to connect at least on ep2's database, but it is so useless, we need ep8 database now.

Well ... and the development continue. I managed to log in using a small trick in database.

As you can see i managed to connect but no channels as you can see. Its that because we cant run WorldSvr yet because of ChatNode which can not be build yet (a lot of errors).
What i did to connect its not a fix its just a trick and i did by changing in procedure sp_cabal_auth,SET @AR_FAILED0 = 0x21 to SET @AR_FAILED0 = 0x20, because 0x20 means succes. So now when you type wrong pw you can connect.
But still we need the new database for the new procedures.

Yes i've already coded my own source codes Ran Online,Ragnarok,Perfect World,Battle of Immortas,Shaiya,Special Force,CrossFire and the latest is Dragon Nest.
Ran and Ragnarok is always have a Ddos attacks because of Pserver wars thats why i decided to rewrite it with my own codes

Fixed that issue when trying to log in with correct details and cabalmain crashes.
No need to do 'trick' in MSSQL as allocen said.

Most daemons(db agents, globalmgrsvr and loginsvr) works, except ChatNode and WorldSvr, now we trying to fix them...

but ChatNode has few missing function.
That source is what made it possible to compile only for run the WorldSvr.
You need vcomp90d.dll for ChatNode.

So far GlobalMgrSvr, GlobalDBAgent, ChatNode, DBAgent, LoginSvr are running fine with only an error in the LoginSvr about the imageauth files not being found but that's not an issue.
The WorldSvr however was starting all the world threads fine last night but today he instantly terminates them while I have not made any changes to the code since then.
EDIT: Found out I jut forgot to run the CashDBAgent so then this happens. As you can see the connection fail to port 38190

we reached today a big but sad point. These files will be only episode 3 server files. We checked all functions and sadly seen funtions same as in episode 3 system. i checked the Patch Notes-es and searched in source.
It was not a good joke @CABAL FOR FREE! We had many hour of work in this, while we hope in episode7. Why can't released just as Episode 3 but that fully with DB-s and all other needed config files. Client and patches. :(
Sad but every words true...
Well the only hope left is oOLapadaOo. Lets pray that he will release the files :(.

Even if this is not ep7... its ep3!! And ep3 is a huge progress to our existing ep 1.9.
Anything can be implemented now because we have the sources!
So it seems to be true what i thought. Latest available sources are ep3 now and all other episodes out there
are binaries.
Imagine our sources ready upgraded to ep8 and enhanced with new exiting features!!!
I understand now why ep8 p-server owners now get anxious :D:
