bryandakis please tell me what are you using (virtualbox oracle?)or workstation plese tell me u didnt get that error when u instaled centos on oracle ? Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! -THIS IS THE ERROR !!

There are Issues if you install CentOS in a virtual environment.
Start first by Installing CentOS on a real machine.
Don't worry, Im sure that everyone will get to play their own server eventually when everything is figured out completely by more and more people and have some free maneuvering power.
still got the service unrecognized prob.....no one?
If you make it as a link.sh and execute it with permissions it will work.

Well Toast, i copied+pasted one by one on putty, no help...till "unrecognized".
okay i found out why i get the Global error on every service.
its because of the MAC address of my virtual box.
When i make the MAC address to 08XXXXXXXX then the files working but my vm got no internet connection.
if i put it on 005XXXXXXXX then my vm will have internet connection and the server files will give me the global error.
So im now very sad :/ someone got a solution? and dont tell me reinstall centos because i did it already over 10 times.

I give up, I tried with:
1 - SQL in VBox and CentOS on PC
2 - SQL in PC and CentOS in vbox
3 - SQL in PC and CentOS on PC
ALL of them gave me the same error, login, does not pass the login screen by any means.
* If I put the wrong password it gives error (so there is connection error with DB)
* If I put the right password as if it gives success but back to the login screen (the log it appears as successful login)
I've tried with 3 clients (Machine, SIMP and TG)
Note: Server STARTED 100%

I suggest to everyone first try to install CentOS on a physical machine and later move on to virtual enviorment, there are some Issues for some reason.
devit65, everyone Is using 32bit for a start I guess.
xiMpurex, the cabal and cabal_server is located in \etc\rc.d\init.d
make sure that they exist and the paths you link are correct.
