i didn't have that error ... i'm usin centos 5.8 32 bit, minimal + vnc on it for ease of use, used a clean system for this so nothing was installed, i used the script i already showed you with yum-ing dependencies, and than copied the cabal rpm and installed it, after that i copied the rest of cabal ep8 files and used the script i posted to link em ... after that i changed db ip and db uid/pass in files + ips in world server and i started it, that was allQuote:

Im using CentOS 5.9 and get [##ERROR##] Initialize(): InitializeGlobals().
If you use EP2 on 5.9 you have a problem where some services start to fast.
You either then need to manually start after waiting or do auto restart.
So 5.9 Is probably a no go.
I'll try the latest CentOS 6.3 and 5.8, lol.

I'll also try 5.5 because I ran EP2 on it for ages without problem.

Overwriting is begging for trouble, also restore the new tables. Don't use anything thats related to EP2.Quote:
