Anyone manage to connect the server using Mystery Cabal? You might ask why MC when TG cabal and SIMPP works. Well, MC can run offline, it doesn't need xtrap. ;)

I'm using your files + http://forum.ragezone.com/f459/cabal...d-bugs-909642/ + TGCabalEP8 + SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 + CentOS 5.9 on VirtualBox. I'm also using breaklee (internal.txt + *.bat file to start).
Also, before anyone asks, yes, I have tried to run cabalmain with the filecheck and without. With the filecheck, I get the error that cabalmain.exe is corrupt!

Without the cabalmain filecheck, I can start the cabalmain, BUT when I don't close the "start-cabal.bat" soon enough, XTrap will give me an error message:

If I do close the opened .bat file (as cmd.exe of course), it will load successfully, BUT when I get to the login screen and type in my info I DO NOT GET ANY SIGN OF ACTIVITY. It will literally do nothing. No matter, if I enter legit usr and pw or just some "gffjudhgifh837oh", it WILL NOT even show, that it's connecting.

Don't know, what the problem is.. Anyhow, I'll try and run the client on a different computer (as toast2250 suggested) and see how that works out..
EDIT: Just tried the client on a Vista computer with latest updates and SP2.. results are the same.
Nothing. It shows no sign of connecting, when I hit either enter or OK.
Something has to be wrong in the cabal client, otherwise it would state that it cannot connect or account doesn't exist etc.
Well... got it working now.. but there are no channels this time. Nice.
EDIT 2: Never mind.. got it working now. Deleted the TGCabalEP8 folder and did a re-unpack, used newer item.enc and the same cabalmain (edited the filecheck myself). Also.. messed around with version/magickey a little bit and got it working.
