I install it to centOS 5.9
now im trying to create new DB and modification on Cabal Server to run on Linux only.
for those who want to try it..
Install phpmyadmin on your linux and try to re-create the db to mssql to mysql.
because phpmyadmin can support only mysql not mssql..
I hope i help those people who want to run the server without using mssql on your windows pc.

Hey I'm using this repack and installed all perfect. I created the account with the GM tool all good but when I go to log in the game It says failed to connect I don't know what else to do I have put the IP in the internel.txt.
btw I get this error when I put service cabal stop any idea why is this ? or is it normal ?

I have kinda the same problem but mine is when I put service cabal stop, the last 5 ones do failed and + I can't connect to my server dunno why. still waiting to see if anyone can help me, first time I try to install a cabal server xD
im experiencing the same problem as jaikor and jerome1109 anyone has a solution for this ?

Repack fix released, please try it and report any problems.
whats new on the fix repack release?
Before the fix, the repack was using some files that have to be downloaded but the server went down.
Now you can use the repack for x32 and x64 centos without the need of downloading the missing files.

I'm getting this error when i instal centOS in virtualBox. anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it?
EDIT: Run VirtualBox.exe, click Settings, select System in the left pane then go in Processor tab.Check Enable PAE/NX. fixed it =)

PAE is a Physical Address Extension. I use it in a Windows 32bit which has 8Gigs of ram.
32bit Windows OSs usually only support max up to 4Gigs of ram but can be extended with PAE with very very slight performance reduction cost.

Is it better to instal CentOS as a OS on the computer if the computer only will be used as a cabal host? or is it even working? :P
