with evo client with fresh install work fine but after update the game doesnt work can only launch the updater
with the infinity client inside "Infinity Files 2014.rar", error with d3d9.dll when i launch it.
What the difference between evo client 2.0 and infinity client ?

Nope, can't get it to work at all. Uninstalled and did a fresh install, restarted my PC, applied the launcher registry fix, ran the launcher for it to update the client, then tried to start and, once again, X-Trap updates normally but then the client just closes automatically.Quote:

I keep reading about people on other servers having trouble running clients, and I myself have not been able to run some servers' clients at all, so I'm thinking this is an OS problem. It just annoys me that I can run some clients but not others, and I was able to run an EP8 server just fine both when it first came out and with the Fallen files, up until I messed up and had to reinstall, and was no longer able to run the client that was uploaded to the Fallen thread in the meantime. I've been stumped ever since. :(

I think file are missing from this release
If I'm not mistaken I think that's because the serverside files provided here don't actually install the server. I'm thinking they're meant to replace a base installation of the server (i.e. Extornia's repack, Toast's repack, etc.). That's probably also why I can't start any WorldSvr services other than 01 and 08 despite having all the INIs and stuff configured properly.Quote:

please start a new thread delete your old logs then restart your server again about 3x will do then post the new fresh logs into your thread
