Hi all! Finally managed to run the server. But can't login. With older cabal clients i cant login
it just hangs, and I don't see any activity in loginsvr logs.
With newer clients from here, and updated language.enc game crashes after XPasa logo

I have tried many clients collected from this post, all have same issues.


1. Can anyone be kind and upload a working client? If not, can you point to a working one?
2. Which .ini I should check to see what port my server uses to connect with client? (The port I should encode to language.enc/IP.enc)

Also working with Cliente Cabal X-NewBeginningV1.8

Can I use the New Age 8.5 repack server and simply overwrite the files in that server with your server files? Then use the client you provided and update language file?

Or is it best to do a fresh install using Azure's guide http://forum.ragezone.com/f460/cento...erver-1144251/ and use the client you have provided?

sorry i dont get those things since im newbie i got error maybe @ item.scp becoz when i put item.scp on the other files working on me the dumper error showed up and channel gone and when i put back the previous item.scp files work properly but lacking of items maybe?

Yes, both client and server files working ok. I didnt do much fixing on client, just added a working cabalmain, changed the language.enc with my IP. Client was closing on start at first, but after lots of file comparing with other clients i found that my cabalmain needed portuguese language folder instead of English. Thats it.

Im testing server with various client found in the thread, these are the ones that I'm able to connect to the server with.


I want to keep the CABAL 47 GAMING one as it has the Transcendence version with some cool graphics that look awesome:

(I'm not up-to-date with cabal development anymore and don't know if this client is newer than xpasa) , but it is the only client that requires cabalMain that is detected by AV, and I don't want to ask players to add an exception to their AV

Can you Share your files? thats being fixxed with the cabalmain or something? good upto the latest update frozen canyon dungeon? and ultimate+latest runes if you have?
