It is a very rough merge and there is a lot of un-necessary code but it is the first real website type offering other than cabaltoolz so i thought i would help out a little. What i changed is quite easy to copy into back into xxdestruxx's version and translate too so it helps everybody ;)

This site seems to load extremely slow, is this normal or do I have something configure wrong?
I'm running it via XAMPP to local machines only at the moment but it seems to take 30-60 seconds to fully load. any one else experience this?
Also, I cant seem to get it to connect to my database. I've configured the config.php with all my information but the site says it cant connect or there is "something missing". I've probably looked over something trivial but I cant figure it out.. any ideas?

Seeing how fast yours loads I'd have to say my speed issue is hardware based. As to be expected from the machine its running on..
However, I am still having trouble getting it to see and log into my database server. I have checked double checked and even triple checked the config.php and all the settings are correct, it sees my login server and displays channel info properly which is a VM running on my database server.Is there something I'm supposed to do on my Database server that I overlooked. Does anything need installed and/or configured.
Im not asking for a how to, just point me in the right direction :)

If using mssql 2005 express that may be the problem, i have had it before. I found freetds to be the quickest fix and it works better than the native libs too.Quote:

I have managed to get everything but the Control Panel to work, it still tells me its unable to connect even though everything else works perfectly. Is there a config file or something I have to enable I missed somewhere?
