Very nice guide, my friend setup his cabal server following those steps and it worked... although there are a few things that you need to have experience with already, linux is surely one of them ! :P
hmm everything seems to work fine, but after i login I can see my channel, but I cant join it... I checked ips in the ini files as suggested in previous posts etc everything seems to be fine
ive included my entire log file to save me uploading any requests later:

Edit line in LoginSvr_01.ini <--centos etc/cabal/

Every Service is running... but "ChatNode,EventMgr,AgentShop,LoginSvr,WorldSvr" still stay stopped... please any1 know how to solve the problem?
I figured out how to do the sql bit, but i can no longer see my channel when i login? ^_^

i see 3x running GlobalMgrSvrEvery Service is running... but "ChatNode,EventMgr,AgentShop,LoginSvr,WorldSvr" still stay stopped... please any1 know how to solve the problem?

always read the logs where the ERROR occurs if there is a problem with connection on port check what Daemon uses. Here you can see the problem in GlobalMgrSvr.ini
